I'm listening to the original 1943 storyboard bonus on LatT PE and Lady says to "Nip" and "Tuck" (since they weren't Si and Am yet) "I suppose you girls like to chase mice?" I guess this settles the matter, athough you could argue that the story went through a lot of changes after that storyboard.
