I voted just because there was a "neither" option, otherwise I wouldn't vote at all- I don't like to get on one's nerves. :D
Well, seperately, they're both better characters than say, every character out of Cinderella or The Little Mermaid, combined.
It seems that unfortunately I did piss someone off, even if I didn't mean to! Too bad. :P

p.s. You can't compare two ladies like Ariel and Cinderella to someone like Jack Skellington or Jack Sparrow. It just isn't done. But for your information, my favourite male hero is Aladdin and he's 1,000 times better than both Sparrow and Skellington! Or this is just my humble opinion.( The last phrase could also be used by you when you talk about something that is NOT objective! )

I actually consider Ariel and Jack Skellington very similar. They both have a love/emptiness (Ariel wants to experience humanity rather than own things made by them, Jack is tired of the same old Halloween and searches for something more) that's not understood by those around them, thus influencing them to selfishly try and make things go their way while subsequently causing devastation all around them.

As for the actualy poll, I'd say Jack Skellington. I enjoy Sparrow, but he's no match for the Pumpkin King.

That was tough...Sparrow is so funny and Skellington is a classic who scared the bejesus out of me so badly it took me like half an hour before I could watch that again eight years later.

But Skellington wins because he had more of an impact on me.

Without a doubt: Captain Jack Sparrow!
