Right. Disney's "Gold Collection" is just for Home Video titles that didn't sell all that well, and don't have much bonus features.
And yet The Sword in the Stone and Bedknobs and Broomsticks were quite packed for GC discs, even including animated menus!

Hear Hear.
Everyone should go there at least once.
Its seriously exactly like Disneyworld....just in Japanese.
But since Japan is trendy, its so much cooler.

Just so everyone knows if it wasn't mentioned before, if you are part of the Disney Movie Club they still have Aristocats and Fox and The Hound Gold Collection available in a 2 pack.

I remember seeing The Aristocats out and about at different places. I've seen it at Best Buy and Circuit City recently. Though I haven't looked since this thread was started, I would bet you can still find it. And if not, than maybe we really will see a re-release next year.

Australia's got it.
Our version of Wal-mart, Big W, has it for $14.95 at the moment.
I'm assuming its part of a sale as other places have it for $28.95!

We are quite "Special" aren't we
I'm glad they're discontinuing The Aristocats. IMO it needs a new resoration badly! Along with Robin Hood, The Sword in the Stone, The Jungle Book and The Rescuers.
I hope they do release a Special Edition. I think there are some Aristocats S.E design's in 'The Ultimate Disney DVD' thread that I think would be a good release.
