Also weird. Was it animated by Disney? Or was a it a foreign movie dubbed? I've never heard of it. And if they poured money into a project, it would be stuid of them not to release it and get some money back rather than no money back.
I'm not sure if it was animated by Disney or just a sub-contractor, but it was made by Buena Vista and is in English.
Interesting that it was released on DTV, though. Didn't know that one.

I didn't know that Disney would be further minimizing their animation department. What does this mean? Won't the animated films take longer to arrive? I knew Disney were laying off people and reducing their feature film output for the year drastically, since Lasseter's arrival, but I didn't realize it would affect WDFA. Is this a change for the better or for the worse?

This means they are getting lean, efficient and profitable!!

Essentially, they'll be cleaning house much like they did after Sleeping Beauty. Of course, that resulted in great films with cheaper animation, followed by okay films with even cheaper animation, before they wised up in the late 70s and began recruiting for talent again.

i hope disney to make the search for Mickey Mouse because i love this maybe in the movie theaters or bring to dvd and video. And also The return of The Incredibles.
