I hear watching Friday the 13th movies on Saturday the 14th is unlucky. Unless it's between the hours of 12:00AM-Midnight to 2:30AM. It could be 1:30... Not sure.

I woke up at 3:30 AM yesterday, headed to the Mall at 5 AM... and sat at Gamestop until 10 AM. No amount of Bad Friday the 13th Juju was going to stop me from getting my Wii pre-ordered. (Turns out, I would have been safe not going until 7:30 AM or so... nobody else showed up until 8 AM.)

Yesterday was the first snow day of the year in my town, so I had a pretty swell Friday the 13th. (Yeah, I live in Canada. Winter comes early.) But really, there was hardly any snow on the ground, and by noon the rain had washed away pretty much the entirety of the little bit there was. So we were extra lucky to get that day off.

It was a good 13th for me. The finale of Smallville(of which I seem to be the only fan here) was on and I watched.

So that explains yesterday's luck of my parents findin out bout my engagement and yet they were somewhat pleased bout the news... I hope and the bride to be's mother handled the news quite well considerin this is the 2nd engagment (the 1st guy left her due to religous issues)

I just had a baby cousin born on Friday the 13th. However he was born in South Korea where the Friday the 13th superstition stuff doesn't carry a whole lot of merit so it cancels itself for him I guess. Now if he had been born on the 4th that would've been a whole nother story.
