Yeah I can't see it either :? Can someone post it please? :)

I've tried linking the poster art to this forum. I'm not sure if it will work cause I've never tried doing this before. But hopefully the link will work in some capacity so that people who want to look at the art can be directly linked to it. :) Hope it works.

I actually love the artwork, it looks like a Platinum Edition, (for example Perter Pan PE)

I think Cinderella is so beautiful.

I like the cover art, but I think that it does look too much like the Platinum Edition cover. I think that maybe changing the background to a different colour, like purple, and moving the pictures around a bit, then it would look better. Just my two cents........................

Cinderella's big head in the cover art reminds me of Belle's big head in the "Belle's Magical World" DVD cover art.

I like the cover art ... as it's been said ... it matches the Cinderella PE cover ... So ... I am guessing Cindy 2 will be released with a matching cover (oh ... and oh so important slipcover LMAO) shortly there after ...

I like the way the cover art tries to keep continuity from the Platinum Edition, but I feel that Cinderella and Lady Tremain are too big. I would like to see them shrunk a little bit. To me, they overwhelm the upper half of the artwork.

I always thought that 'Cinderella 2' and 'Belle's Magical World' looked very similar.

Wow, I never realised how similiar the covers are. I like the Belle's Magical World one better though.

i also hope that this isn't final, and they should consider redrawing the step mother's face on the cover art. looks way different fromt the movie. i think a twist in time will probaly have a better storyline than dreams come true.

Disney Duster Presents Cinderella II: How It Should Be!

What storyline?

Well, personally I think the cover is great. I like it quite a bit. The fairy dust is white, like it should be. The only problem I have is everyone looks off-model. But they've re-drawn their DVD covers before. The part with Anastasia wearing the slipper reminds me of the back of the original Black Diamond VHS cover, and that's cool.
Josh wrote:I thought the Slipper was meant to fit Drizella, not Anastasia...or maybe I just read that in D. Duster's alternate version of Cinderella 2. :?
You're right, I did type that the stepmother would make Drizella marry the prince in my version of Cinderella II.

Speaking of, I re-typed my version of Cinderella II, and added more comedy, more danger, and more stepmother! I know it's kind of a cheesy title, but since it is about Jaq thinking he loves Cinderella, and Anastasia never thinking she'll know love until she meets the baker, I titled it Cinderella II: Love Comes True. Please read it and tell me what you think.

At the end of that, that's where I had previously typed that I thought Drizella would be the one to marry the prince after the stepmother gets the wand.

Cinderella III: Memories of Posters and Slippers

Also, does the DVD cover remind anyone of Disney theatrical posters? I know the characters are drawn a little-off, but 'm talking about the placement, the colors, and overall feeling. In many Disney theatrical posters there's some characters drawn small below the huge, looming head of the villain in the dark. It just reminds me of that, with Tremaine's face in the dark watching everyone.

Anyway, I thought I'd re-post this information. I got this from here:
"Cinderella III," due out next Spring, is the kind of movie Disney Toons appears to be moving away from -- a hand-drawn sequel of a sequel to a beloved classic. ("Cinderella I" was released in 1950 and returned the studio to the realm of feature-length fairy tales after a ten-year hiatus. It was also a substantial hit.) Disney Toons new feature was the last animated at the company's now-shuttered Australian studio.

According to some of the artists who worked on the "CIII," it's also a better picture than many of the other sequels that Disney Toons has churned out...

"Of all the ones I've worked on," said one veteran Disney story artist, "'Cinderella III' is among the best. Margo Pipkin the producer knows how to direct the energy of the crew and let you do your job. There are things in it I'm not crazy about, but overall it's really nicely done."

"The animation crew in Sydney did a really great job," another artist said. "They rotoscoped a lot of live-action reference on their own, worked hard to get the characters right. You don't usually end up with delicate, subtle animation in the direct-to-video features, but there's some great scenes where you can see Cinderella reacting and thinking. That's unusual for a lot of these."

(The background keys done by Disney veteran Bob Schaeffer were also strong. Last year, when Bob showed me some of the b.g.s on which he was working, they matched the originals in almost every detail.)

The artists told me the Sydney crew knew "Cinderella III" would be the last one they would be doing, which is probably one of the reasons the animation is as strong as it is. It was the crew's hale-and-farewell. "The last teleconference we had with them, it was like they didn't want to get off the line, they wanted to keep it going. When the picture was srapping up, there were lots of inquiries about jobs here, but there really weren't any. Most of the animators are working other places now, the Phillipines or Taiwan."
Now, after seeing the trailer, I can see that the animation is at least a step above the animation done in Cinderella II. I'm getting used to it now, each time I re-watch the trailer. I don't know if it was worked on as much as they say, since Prince Charming is really off, but Cinderella does look more on-model, as do the stepsisters and even some frames of Lady Tremaine. In any case, some scenes are just beautiful because they flow nicely in movement. And the glass slipper was drawn extremely well and beautifully. When it fell, it reminded me of exactly how it looked in the movie!

I love the image shown on the website it really gets me excited because the backround artwork is done in the style of the original instead of Cinderella 2 which looked like an imitation of Beauty and the Beast. I've never been excited about a direct to video movie...........I must be getting the flu

Has anyone seen the musical on the Disney Cruise Line called "Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story" it features the same basic plot as this movie (minus the Evil Fairy Godfather character). Are any of the songs or jokes good, I'm wondering if they'll put them into this movie.

Cinderella III Music

Well, Flanger-Hanger, I wish I had seen the stage show, but I haven't, sorry. Yet, I did read that the book, lyrics, and music were written by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner, who also provided arrangements and music consulting for Cinderella III. They wrote the award-winning song "Follow You Heart" for Cinderella II, which I actually liked...the song I mean! I read that they actually did all the original songs and score for Cinderella II, and it won Best Original Score at some DVD Exclusive Awards... Well, in any case, I really liked the music in the Cinderella III trailer (some of it was taken from the scene where the coach is getting chased in the first movie, but I meant the other music). Especially the chorus going "Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ahhhhhh"...

Oh, and I agree with you about the backgrounds, too!
