Adventure films....Aladdin? Not really an adventure. Peter Pan? Very close to adventure for a movie that is commonly used as a play, but again...too many songs. Treasure Planet? Ok, adventure. Tarzan? No, it has a larger drama element to it.
Atlantis? THAT IS ADVENTURE TO IT'S PUREST!
Aladdin - umm....finding a magical lamp and going on a series of...well, adventures to ultimately defeat evil with the help of a genie. If you were a peasant boy, I'd say that the events of the film would be an adventure!
Peter Pan - children whisked away to a magical place called Neverland and fighting the evil Captain Hook. Yeah, happened to me last week.
Tarzan - prim and proper English people in the jungle is ALWAYS an adventure. Haven't you seen old movies?
I think any story that takes a character out of their natural habitat and places them in a position of peril or some kind of challenge makes for an adventure story. Hell, a movie about going down to the shops could be an adventure, especially if there were ninjas, or they didn't have those nice cookies you always buy.
As for favourite, I should point out that I WOULD have voted for Atlantis had it been on offer, as it is my favourite adventure story. Prince Ali is right to a certain extent - there are more appropriate adventure stories that should be on there. I simply chose Aladdin because it was my personal fave of the ones on offer.
So, I do take Ali's point, but I have to disagree - simply because there are more songs than explosions, it doesn't mean it isn't "adventure".
You have a point I guess to a certain degree, but I still wouldn't consider the films adventure as a whole, except Treasure Planet.
I picked Aladdin though, just because it was my favorite amongst the 4. MMB is right poco, go see it....NOW!

Well Aladdin is my favorite movie of these 4. But we've done the favorite thing, so I decided to base it on which movie's adventure aspects strike me as most thrilling. Tarzan is out for me (it's a good movie and all, but I'm not a huge fan) and Aladdin's adventure doesn't quite match up with the other two.
So that left with me Peter Pan and Treasure Planet- tough choice! If this was the story of Peter Pan vs. the story of Treasure Island, I'd give the edge to Peter (only by a little, though). But since we're comparing Disney's Peter Pan with Disney's Treasure Planet, I voted for the latter, as I think it conveys the adventuresome spirit better.
If we were going for most adventuresome score, though, I think Peter Pan would be a leading contender, and quite possibly the victor.
