I would recommend purchasing The Walt Disney World Triva Books by Louis Mongello, too. He breaks the trivia questions (all multiple choice) into six different categories: All Around the "World", Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Beyond the Parks. There are also text boxes titled "Did you Know?" scattered throughout the book posting fun facts and some of his family photos.
The books are paperback and are each listed at $14.95.
Volume two was just published last year, while volume one was published in 2004 so it may not currently be in print.

Wow, I had no idea there were so many different Disney trivia books out there. Yeah, the ones I had been collecting do that same kind of breaking up too, if I recall correctly. EPCOT, Disney MGM, and so on.

The Imagineering Guide to Animal Kingdom has just been released. I don't have it yet but it should be as good as the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT books. A very strong recommendation to anyone who likes theme park books.
Also, Walt Disney's Legends of Imagineering and the Genesis of the Disney Theme Park has been pushed back to September. Who knows if we'll actually ever see this book come out. Here's hoping that we do.
The Disney Mountains: Imagineering At Its Peak is also due out in September.

My favorite WDW books to use before going there are:
Brinbaums Walt Disney World
Brinbaums Walt Disney World For Kids By Kids

Those are great books for visiting Disney World or Disneyland.
For me, since I don't go but once every 4 years or so, they don't have as many good pictures as some of the other stuff out there does. Nor does it provide the behind the scenes info that other books do.

Okay, I officially got my hands on the Imagineering Guide to the Animal Kingdom. It's as good as the other two books in the set (EPCOT & Magic Kingdom). Again, if you like information on how something was built or like the secrets behind the rides and parks then you will enjoy this book.

What are the best books about the creation of Disneyland & WDW? The ones with the most background information about the ideas behind the parks? Ones that mostly deal with Walt and his ideas for the parks?
