Supposedly that's coming early next year, though it's yet to be confirmed whether or not it'll be two discs (it better be...).

What happened to the commentaries?! There aren't any on Lady & the Tramp, Cinderella or Alice in Wonderland. Where are they? :(

Oh Hallelujah to High Heaven! I knew it was in the works, but I'm just sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for it! I really hope it's 2 discs...otherwise, it'll be just like the craptastic "special edition" from four years ago...

Also, it6's set to be released alongside the Tinker Bell Movie, so I hope they don't give it a stupid title like "Peter Pan: Pixie Dust Edition." But with Dumbo and apparently Robin Hood too, I think that's what's gonna happen...

What happened to more seasons of Avonlea on DVD? I want more Jasper Dale and Aunt Olivia sexual tension!

Speaking of which - What happened to those lost minutes of footage in the season 1 set?

(see: http://www.ultimatedisney.com/avonlea-season1.html )

What happened to a new Hercules DVD of any kind??
What happened to a Little Mermaid II re-release? Most of the other platinum editions with sequels were released simultaneously...

And when are going to get that Home On The Range: Special Edition?

What happened to those constant warnings by mods to save bandwidth?
Disney-Fan wrote: What happened at Disney when they decided to make Chicken Little? :D
Walt Disney actually approved a Chicken Little short, while he turned down The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Tarzan. So if those movies worked, why would Chicken Little be any different? It depends on opinions, but I think it's a much better film than all 3 combined.

Getting back on topic:

What happened to the 2-Disc set of Chicken Little!?!

But, if Peter Pan was included in the PEs, how can it be released next year in a 2-Disc set? There are already two PEs scheduled for 2007 (101 Dalmatians, Jungle Book). Do you think they're gonna release 3PEs in just one year!?
And if Peter Pan will only be 1-Disc, it won't be too long until the PE will be released and then Disney would break its seven-year carousel.

In that case, you really do need to get the next season!

From what i understand from the rumor mill, Peter Pan is no longer a part of the PE line, which is why it is recieving that release next year. Either way it better be a 2-Discer or else i will be very very unhappy with Disney.

What happened to the Disney Heroes Line?

I'm pretty sure I know what's going on with PP. PP will be re-released next year for the new tink movie. But, PP IS still on the PE line. Otherwise, we would have heard from now that there would only be 13 movies. So, I'm pretty sure that PP IS still on the PE line, even though it is getting re-released next year for the new tink movie.

I know it's already been posted, but what happened to Boy Meets World: The Complete Fourth Season?

I honestly don't know what to think about this. If they DO release PP next year and then release it again in '08 as a part of the Platinum Edition line, I don't know which version to get. I don't want to buy this '07 version and then turn around and buy another one in like 9 months. That takes DVD double-dipping to a whole new extent!

That's what they did in 2005 with Bambi in Feb/March, Pocahontas in May, and Cinderella in October, but Pocahontas, as far as I know, is not part of the platinum line. However, each title was released in a satisfying 2-disc presentation.

I could honestly care less if Peter Pan is included in the platinum line...I just want a good presentation...you know?

I'm also wondering about Peter Pan. I have the old special edition, but I feel it doesn't have as many features as I thought it would. Same thing with Lilo & Stitch. Hopefully, Disney will at least consider not copying the old editions like they did with Dumbo.

This next comment may be completely off topic, but I just want to say, Sequel of Disney & Prince Ali, I LOVE your avatars! Wonderful stuff! I need to learn how to make an animated one like yours. Superb.

Thank you FantasiaMan! :D I wish I could take the credit for making mine, but I'm afraid I don't know how. :( But if you would like one like mine, I got it off of iconator.com.
