If I have cover and disc art, YOU have cover and disc art. That's how it goes.

Aladdin is going to come out in IMAX in 2004, probably in January. Disney just doesn't want to waste the money on advertising because BATB and TLK didn't do so hot in IMAX. I assume that they are going to start advertising really up close to the actual date that it starts in IMAX. It has also been speculated that if Aladdin doesn't do well in IMAX, they won't bother putting the Little Mermaid in IMAX.

I say just skip the IMAX. Make the DVD release date a whole lot sooner.

I know, even if they release them for a limited time (3-4 mons) I would be happy with that. Cause I know I will be at Wal-Mart at 6 am when they open for those. They already know me down there.

That's cause I keep those guys in business.

I agree to that!!!!
When I heard that they were going to release 2 platinums per year, I was like alright, I'll get Aladdin in March instead of October, but they had to burst my bubble
I don't know why they bother with IMAX anyways, I live in Virginia and there isn't any IMAX theaters anywhere I live. I'd have to drive like 5 hours just to get to somewhere that has an IMAX theater

Wow....that is a drive for an IMAX. I think there are like 3 - 5 near me. Within resonable driving distance. But they need to stop with IMAX and go straight to DVD.

Not only would skipping IMAX mean presumably a faster release, it'd also mean that they wouldn't screw with the film's animation. While the IMAX film experience is awesome, there's some really big negatives to it.

Yah that's true Luke. I just wish Disney would skip the IMAX.
