I move that the moderators lock this thread...........it is all old news, and who really cares anymore. Being gay is not the headline grabber it used to be.

I'm shocked... and I also don't care. I wish for all boybanders to fall off the face of the earth. Honestly, I think this is a ploy to bring himself back to fame, considering he was the one boybander closest to being completely off the map.
Frickin' IDIOT,
JM

Are you kidding? If you are going to come up with a ploy to bring yourself back to fame, I don't think that announcing you are gay is really going to make you famous. I mean, come on. Even though we live in a more accepting society, don't think for a minute that being gay is an easy thing to live with. There are still many people who are prejudiced against gay people, and it's not something that's an easy thing to announce to your family, friends, associates, and the world.

His coming out now might have something to do with the fact that his character on that Odd Couple type show is supposed to be gay. Maybe he just didn't want to shock anybody since the show might get picked up. Shrugs.

When I first saw this thread I asked myself "Who"?
Then when I found out who he was I'm now asking a more important question: Who cares?

This Lance Bass seems a little fishy to me, don't you think?
For the unaware, a Bass is a kind of fish...

It's just not shocking anymore. That's got to be it. Queer Eye for the Straight Guy ruined everything (including the appeal of 'good'-taste)

Lance Bass is gay?

NO WAY!!!!
In other news, the sun will rise, the sun will set and I will have lunch.
Seriously, I find it fantastic that Lance is affirming who he is, I just don't see the big deal. He's in the same type of relationship my favorite cousin is in, and all I can say is, "congratulations." The relationship seems to be caring, loving and solid...I hope both Lance's and my cousin's unions go on for many years.

In the magazine he says hes not gonna go around leading parades and stuff, I'm glad because this magazine interview was enough to let us know that he's happy being gay.
