How about this?

...statues should be erected in DisneyWorld/Disneyland to commemorate the nine old men. Each statue will be of one of the nine old men and the characters they animated (for example, the Ward Kimball statue will have him surrounded by the Three Caballeros, the Cheshire Cat, Jiminy Cricket, and so on). Each statue will also include their names, the dates they were born and the dates when they died, a quote that they said, and beside them, monitors that show scenes or clips of their work.

I think that these statues should be erected so people can learn about their great work and how they important they were to Walt.

I came up with this years ago, but I think it would finally do them justice.

I remember when you first posted that idea and I think it's a good one. I doubt we'll actually see it anytime soon, but it would be a nice diversion to add to a corner at one of the parks (sort of like the busts at MGM).

I'd like to see more effort put into their newer rides.

The difference between old and new has less to do with familiarity and more to do with quality. With a lot of the older rides, you always notice something different when you go on. There is always some little secret or some detail that you can look for.

The newer rides and the replacement rides lack that. It's slapped together and sometimes done on the cheap. Despite the fact that technology has improved in the 50 years since Disneyland opened there are rides that are few and far between. When Disney actually puts some thought into a ride (Indiana Jones, Roger Rabbit come to mind) it really shows and it stands out.

I think the Nine Old Men statue garden would be brilliant.

It could never happen, but I'd love to see a Spirited Away dark ride in Epcot's Japan.

How about the Fantasia boat rides that were originally planned for the park. Besides Fantasia Gardens & the All-Star Movies hotel, there's nothing related to Fantasia or Fantasia 2000.

What about Fantasmic and the Sorcerer's Hat? But the Fantasmic boat ride sounds really cool, do you know of any links that have info on that?
