I am not a big fan of Sequals either but it is the way things are done now, I am not Surprised they are making 2 more High School Musicals, and hopefully they will have the magic of the first one, Sometimes you get the rare sequel like the X-Men ones where they get better, Lets hope this is the case with some of the Disney ones

Interesting...Same actors?
That's So Raven Movie (April 2007-possible theaterical release)
Theatrical? I hope so that would mean forced 16:9 and faster airings/relesings here...
Some Call it Magic (August 2007)
with Aly & AJ?
High School Musical 3 (January 2008
The Cheetah Girls 3 (February 2008

already planning 2nd sequel before the first one hasn't aired?
Zenon: Z4 (March 2008
So, disney, where are the DVDs from Zenon 1-3?
As far I love Zenon, I hate 3rd sequels. More than zwo sequels shouldn't be made
Tiger Cruise 2 (August 2008

Man, when will theay air the first one...?
Cadet Kelly 2 (September 2008
With Hilary as the "master"? (that role CCR played in part 1). That would be....interesting ;-)
Halloweentown: She's the Witch (October 2008
would be the 4th movie. Not good. 1-3 were good.

Hi Thorsten, I'll try to answer your questions as best I can. First of all, you should know that most of this list is fake, as previously stated in this thread, but the likelihood of Disney making a lot of these films are pretty high. Okay. Here goes-
High School Musical 2- I've heard from quite a few sources about this, so I know that they are definitely making this movie. It's an obvious move from Disney considering how popular the first was/is and how much money they can stand to make from it, ie DVDs, CDs, etc. I myself bought the DVD yesterday and I got a free poster with it! :) I've also heard that all of the cast is coming back, so that's good news.
That's So Raven Movie- I've heard that Disney was originally planning this for TV, but are now planning it for a theatrical release, seeing the popularity of a theatrical release of The Lizzie McGuire Movie. I think that al of the series cast is coming back, but I don't know for sure if everyone's coming back for the film. Not sure where they are in development, but hopefully they announce more information soon.
Some Call It Magic- I have no idea what's happening with this movie. I never heard of it before I saw this list, I don't know of the storyline and I don't know who's starring in it, but it's very possible that Aly and AJ could continue their Disney domination with another DCOM. They only thing I know for sure regarding the film title is that Raven Symone (That's So Raven) has recorded a song under the same title. That means that her song could possibly end up in the finished film, if Disney ever makes it.
High School Musical 3 and The Cheetah Girls 3- Very, very possible, considering Disney's love for sequels, and even more likely if both sequels are successful and popular, but for now just consider them rumours.
Zenon- Z4 - I really don't know about this one, considering Disney has already completed the trilogy quite nicely, but you never know. I think that Kirsten Storm would probably come back for a fourth installment, but I think that she's getting a bit old for the part, although Disney might have been holding off releasing a box set of the DVDs for the fourth movie. It would be a perfect release for them, but for now, definitely file it under rumour.
Tiger Cruise 2- I think that this one is a definite fake, considering the first one kind of flew under the radar for a lot of people, and wasn't really popular, but I think that Hayden would return, if asked, for a sequel. But considering that Disney hasn't even released a DVD of it, I wouldn't believe this one until more sources confirm it.
Cadet Kelly 2- Very unlikely, considering that Hilary hasn't been in contact with Disney for awhile, and I doubt that they'd make a sequel without her, being that she is pretty much why the movie is popular among tweens. Don't count on this one, well not yet anyway. I can imagine Disney years from now trying to make as much money from previous movies, and I can imagine them getting like a forty year old Christy Carlson Romano headlining the sequel.
Halloweentown : She's the Witch - I think that Disney is actually going ahead with this one, cause I've read it in a magazine and online a few times, so it's pretty posiible that this could end up as a real film. I've heard that it could also be called Halloweentown 4- Witch U, as they are heading off to Witch University. I hate that title, but you know, the movies were popular, so Disney could still be trying to milk it some more. I've heard that Lucas Grabeel (of High School Musical fame) is retunng as well.

I hope I've answered you questions Throsten, maybe some other people can give you more info on them. Wow, I'm really tired from typing that much. Enjoy!

Just to let everyone know...

Cheetah Girls 2
That's So Raven: The Movie
and
Double Dutch

ARE ALL TRUE! Well, at least CG2 and DD, That's So Raven has been in talks for quite some time and I have a feeling they will release it in theaters as all parties have said they would like to see it happen.

However, I would really like to see a Hannah Montana movie, I have a feeling that show is going to be (if it isn't all ready) bigger than Raven and Lizzie combined!

due to the budget for the premire of a new show every month there are only gonna be 4 dcoms in 2007 (High School Musical 2, Jump, Double Dutch & Zenon: Z4)

Have Zenon:Z4 or Jump been confirmed anywhere? I saw Double Dutch on IMDB and I know they are making a HSM 2 but what about the other 2?

Wow, only 4? Well, at least they'll have enough time to release them to DVD then. Yeah, I've seen Double Dutch on imdb.com and definitely heard of HSM 2, but what's Jump about? And has Disney definitely jumped on board fro Zenon 4?
BTW, Princess Marlo- I love your avatar! Very nice. Welcome to the forum!

Jump is a Disney Channel Original Movie scheduled to air in early 2007. The movie, starring Corbin Bleu from High School Musical and Keke Palmer from Akeelah and the Bee, revolves around a young boxer, Izzy Daniels (Bleu), who trains to follow in his father's footsteps by winning the Golden Glove. When his friend, Mary (Palmer), however, asks him to substitute for a team member in a Double Dutch tournament, the young man discovers a hidden passion for jump roping.[1] Filming is scheduled to begin in June 2006.[2] Corbin has confirmed that his real-life father, David Reivers, will play the part of Kenneth Daniels, Izzy's father, in the movie. Corbin has also suggested that he may record a song for the movie soundtrack, which the music group B5 has already confirmed they will be contributing to.

The thing about wikipedia, is that anyone can just put whatever they want in there. They can put whatever movie they want into schedule. So, wikipedia is not a very reliable source when it comes to unannounced films.

Like I said last page!
Ok, here is my story with this list. Some little kid wanted to make up titles so he looked around picked some real movies and made up his own and then stuck it on the Wikipedia website for DCOM. After I had spent long hours updating the Wiki site, this kid kept going back and reverting it so that these movies showed up. Anybody who went to the Wiki site saw this and eventually it started to spread. Ive been trying to perfect the DCOM site for about a year and a half and I always run into trouble. So this kid made up a list and it spread through the internet like an STD. Most of it is false, so take it with some caution.
Ive tried to keep it updated with pure facts, but people keep changing it even though the movies aren't real! Everything you read on Wiki needs to be take with a word of caution.
