I don't see The Simpsons doing 300 million domestically. More like 100-150 million. It will be cremated by OOTP. Besides, many fans have lost interest in The Simpsons, like myself.
Oh yeah? Try and top this!numba1lostboy wrote:![]()

And POA didn't even have any other heavyweight family films to compete with it...just typical summer fare (the high profile Fahrenheit 911 came out around POA's 4th week in theaters, but by that time it had already dropped out of the top spot).Timon/Pumba fan wrote:But I still think Harry Potter will have trouble though. After all, it looks like it's facing the problems POA had. Too much competition before.
I was under the impression that Evan Almighty was going to be released in December of this year (but I could be wrong there). And I'm surprise Ocean's 13 isn't planning a winter release.kbehm29 wrote: Easter 2007 Inkheart

According to the release schedule at Box Office Prophets, so far the only family film they have scheduled for release in the winter season is Dreamwork's "Bee Movie", which is slated for November 2. However, there's also the independently-animated Delgo which seems as if it's been floating around in the post-production void for years now (and, in fact, it has). So that could theoretically be aimed for a winter release.lord-of-sith wrote:Wait, is anything even comming out in the winter of 2007?
It originally was scheduled for 2006, but it was pushed out further a few months ago.lord-of-sith wrote: I was under the impression that Evan Almighty was going to be released in December of this year (but I could be wrong there).

Ah yes, I forgot about Caspian (surprisingly) and I will probably see Bee Movie, as Jerry Seinfeld is to star in it.Karushifa wrote:According to the release schedule at Box Office Prophets, so far the only family film they have scheduled for release in the winter season is Dreamwork's "Bee Movie", which is slated for November 2. Then you've got the next Narnia picture, Prince Caspian, slated for a December 14, 2007 release, according to IMDB. And there's always the possibility that some of the films listed for summer could be bumped up to winter before this year is out. We shall see.
Yuck I like Winter H-P releases much more but perhaps thats just me.numba1lostboy wrote:It's OFFICIAL!!! Warner Bros just confirmed that OOTP will be released in the US on July 13, 2007!!!
Read the rest of the interview here.CS: How far along are you on the new "Potter" movie?
Grint: The fifth one? We're almost halfway there. We only sort of started, but there's still a long way to go, but it's going really well.
...
CS: Did you notice a big change in the writing, since this is the first one not written by Steven Kloves?
Grint: I guess it's still quite faithful to the book, and it's a really good script, actually.
With the exception of the humongous Shrek 2. I'm sure none of us could forget that.Karushifa wrote: And POA didn't even have any other heavyweight family films to compete with it...
