SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO HAVENT SEEN THE NARNIA MOVIE YET!!!

Chronicles of Narnia made me choke up at the end. I've loved that book for so long and seeing it on film just makes my heart go out to it. It's a wonderful and beautiful movie.
When the witch stabs Edmund, and Peter shouts "EDMUND!" and the audio is gone...that part makes me shudder because that's how I would feel if my brother died.
And when they all get crowned Kings and Queens, I feel so happy...*sigh*

...the wonderful acting by the kids didn't hur one bit...now why can't they find kids like that for the HP movies?? hmmm....

Princess Diaries made me tear up when Mandy Moore and her friends totally embarrass Mia at the beach. I felt so sorry for her. And when she gives her acceptance speech at the end, her voice gives me chills.

I know this wasn't a Disney release, but it' owned by Disney...the whole 2 hours of Finding Never Land had me reaching for the tissues. SO GOOD!

I also felt a lump in my throat in Return to Never Land...just because it was a sad attempt at a sequel to one of Disney's best films.

hmmm... lets see....

first off, i'm not that emotional. I have YET to actually cry over a disney movie. BUT, there were some scenes in different disney films that really pulled at my emotions, and made my eyes water a little...

Dumbo- during the Baby Mine sequence

Tarzan- when the hunter guy/villian (sorry, I forget his name), was capturing all of the apes

Beauty and the Beast- when Beast died, and during the transformation scene

Brother Bear- when you discover what REALLY happened to Koda's mom...that was really shocking to me!!

i feel like there where some others, but thats all i can think of right now...

OH!! and how could i forget The Fox and the Hound!!!

For me just two titles make me cried and they were The Fox and the Hound and Dumbo and with other movies I feel sadness at some moments, but I don't cry

What about Mary Poppins? When you think about the message Walt was trying to get across and how much he loved the film. Feed the Birds is one of the greatest songs in a Disney film because it was about sharing love. It was the heart of the film and the song made Walt cry every time he heard it.

I am surprised no one mentioned Follow Me, Boys! But I guess not too many people have seen that one. It is a very good picture.

Oh! I almost forgot Pollyanna!

What actually was a tear-jerker for me was Lilo and Stitch when Stitch is supposed to leave and never see Lilo again. I don't know why, but in the movie theaters, my eyes had started to well.

Bambi has always made me cry. Before the platinum release I actually hadn't watched it in years because I had been afraid that I was going to cry. And after all these years, I still shed a few tears when I rewatched it.

Like I said before, never cried, but during Bambi when that dreary winter music comes on before and after his mother is shot is so sad and low sounding, its amazing what part music played in that, as well as how dark it was, how there were only a few shades of dark and dirty white, and like before, you don't have to cry to get the emotional impact of the situation (in any film).

<b>Follow Me Boys</b>- When all the boys and the town follow him at the end- I cried! This is such a feel-good movie.

<b>The Lion King</b>- I think the music had a big part in this. I remember the first time I saw it in the theater, watching the animals bowing and Rafiki holding up baby Simba and then seeing the title pound on the screen, I had goosebumps. Then at the end, when they are holding up Simba's baby- I cried. It was and still is a powerful movie to me.

I'm probably the ONLY one here... but in Hercules at the end when there's a constellation of Hercules forming and Phil looks up and is all happy... then to top it off they make the one guy say "That's Phil's boy!".... get's me EVERY time (not 'cause it's sad of course, but because I'm so happy for him)

No movie has more tear-inducing scenes than Dumbo. I question the emotional capacity of one who can say they've never been moved in some way at some point in their life by this film.

I'm afraid I'm soppy... I tear up with all of them at some point. The exception being The Emporer's New Groove.

Fantasia´s "Ave Maria" sequence made me very sad. This part of the movie is very well done ant the animation with music (altogether) is just charming.

When I toured the animation studio at the Disney/MGM theme park in Disneyworld, they wound up the tour with a wonderful montage of special moments in their animated movies .... I can't remember all except the scene in Bambi: "Your mother can't be with you any more;" but all of the scenes they chose had choke-up potential. That of course, plus "Old Yeller."

Oh, yes, I've seen that film several times. It segues from a number of scenes of characters running from danger (Belle running from the Beast, etc) into very sad scenes...and the turning point is The Shot, followed by Bambi calling for his mother. VERY sad, indeed.

Fortunately, that part of the montage is followed by the "waking up" of characters thought to be dead: Baloo, the Beast, Basil, etc., so you don't leave the theater feeling TOO depressed (although the Bambi scene usually had me down for the rest of the day ).

I recently watched The Chronicles of Narnia with my friend and we were both in tears during the whole Aslan on the stone table scene my dad walked in and saw the two of us blubbering and asked what was wrong and we couldn't even talk we practically cried for joy when he came back to life

Good music always increases the weeping effect of a movie for me, though I rarely cry when viewing a movie.

Brother Bear was very touching for me.

I once showed Mulan for a friend (with the Finnish dub, which is better than average) and he told me that if he had been watching it by himself, he would have wept even more.

Mary Poppins such a happy movie that the final chorus "Let's go fly a kite" always gets me.

Lion King, of course.

Non-Disney movies that make me cry: Wild Strawberries, Mulholland Drive.

Pollyanna: When Pollyanna had lost all hope and was pouting, she looks down from the 2nd floor railing at all of the townspeople who came to show their love, support, and appreciation for her. This makes me choke, tear up, maybe cry, too.

Dumbo: I've probably teared up during "Baby Mine."

Follow Me, Boys!: I've purchased this DVD, and enjoy it.... I didn't cry from it. I'll have to watch it again.

There are a lot of Disney movies that move me emotionally, not always to tears, but pretty darn close.

Bambi, though I watch it on a regular basis, still has the ability to make me tear-up.

Lady and the Tramp gets to me pretty much all the time, also.

Old Yeller is the one that has me bawling like a baby (that scene when he has to shoot the dog never fails to bring out the showers).

There is a non-Disney movie that will make all of you very emotional, because it wrecks me every time I see it, it is called The Yearling. Next time it is on TCM, watch it, or next time you go to Lackluster Video, rent it. Guaranteed, not a dry eye in the house after viewing this one.

I don't really cry, just get that sad, sad feeling in the pit of my stomach, it only happened the first 2 times I saw Bambi II, and no matter how many time I see Bambi, that choir at the end has an effect on me for some strange reason . Old Yeller is sad no matter how you look at it, and the Fox and the Hound when the old lady drops the fox off tugs at the heartstrings. But Bambi is still the only one that ever wrangled a tear out of me, when his mother is shot and they play that dreary sad music as he's running around the forest yelling "Mother" were great build ups, but, I never teared up until the stag said to him "Your mother can't be with you anymore" and then that silence....WOW..that was some powerful stuff. Then of course as I've said before, the ending has that powerful music and breathtaking final scene.....
