The local Best Buy still has a copy of The Ultimate Toy Box on the shelf...Is it worth ~$70, or should I just get each separately for about $50? I do watch all the extras on all the 2 DVD sets, but in this case it's like a whole movie cost more. Opinions?
It's definitely worth going for The Ultimate Toy Box because the individual Toy Story discs lose just about ALL extras, besides the shorts and TS2's outtakes.
You got to be able to do better than $70 somewhere. Sheesh, just checked Amazon and they're going for over $80.
Barnes & Noble.com still have the set in stock for $62.99, probably with free shipping. Our link:

DVD Empire says "Ship when Stock Arrives", which may likely be never...but they have it for $52.49 if they get more in (doubt it):

Another way to go is to get it from Half.com. There's a reputable seller on there with a factory-sealed copy for just $51.99:
<a href="

This of course presupposes that you have a credit card to use. I think you'd regret NOT getting the Ultimate Toy Box, and you certainly have to see these movies!
Got it three years ago to the date, and I love it!

Well, all the supporting characters in Nemo (Crush, Bruce, Nigel, Fish Tank Gang) pulled it ahead for me. Right behind that we've got Monster's Inc, then Toy Story 2 (seriously, you've got to love Bullseye!), then Toy Story, then A Bugs Life (I liked Antz better too . . . but A Bugs Life might pull up with repeated viewings, I've only seen it twice). However, I like every single Pixar movie (except A Bugs Life)better than almost all the traditional Disney ones. Hopefully the Incredibles will be great!
What's your favorite Disney/Pixar Movie yet?
pretty simple question..... not so simple answer...
here's my order:
1. Finding Nemo (sorry Lion King fans.... i know this knocked TLK off the box office charts.... but u gotta love it)
2. Monsters Inc. (smiled non-stop for 92 minutes)
3. Toy Story (awsome concept, great characters... and it was the pioneer...)
4. A Bugs Life (Cute... in a sympathetic kind of way... but -sorry disney- i thought Antz was much better....)
5. Toy Story 2 (whatever)
Totally Agree.

I like them all. It's hard to pick a favorite, because after I watch one of the movies it goes to the top of my list until i watch another Pixar movie. Last one I saw after Toy Story 2 was Finding Nemo so that takes first place.
The order I like them are:
1. Finding Nemo
2. Monsters Inc.
3. Toy Story 2
4. Toy Story
5. Bug's Life

Toy Story 1 is tops. It really got me back into giving a crap about cartoons. The CGI explosion that followed though can tell you how big an influence the movie had.
Monsters Inc is #2 for me. What a great original story. Boo steals the show though.
After that I'm kind of indifferent towards the rest. Toy Story2 was fun but not really as memorable as the first. The story was kind of a lame retread too minus the Woody backstory.
Worst of all had to be Finding Nemo which led me to believe that Pixar was running out of ideas. This whole "Holy Crap my Child/friend/mate has run away/been lost, let's go on a wild adventure to find him!!". Face it, Finding Nemo was Toy Story with Fish. Yawn. Such an uneventful film too with an unrewarding ending. Pixar's worst.

I haven't seen a bug's life yet, but of the ones that I have seen, I like finding nemo best. Monster's incs is my second favorite, followed by toy story 2 and toy story.

Toy Story 2 - Can't compare this story to the others, very funny
A Bugs Life
Toy Story
Monsters Inc - For some reason I didn't like Boo much
&
Finding Nemo

- Predictable and not as good as their other films.
It was alright but for me it just wasn't as much fun.
