Gotta hand it to Shatner. He has gone so far on so little talent. We should all aspire to this.

I'm still having chills about that! Still GREAT show tonight the only thing I craved more of was Denny's latest (Looks down to see her with angry face.) I love this woman/character!
(BTW Where have Sara and Garrett been?)

"Trick or Treat" was definitely the phrase of the night on BOSTON LEGAL's annual Halloween episode ...
As the firm prepares for their Halloween party ... Denise receives the news that her finace Daniel Post is dead ... in a quite unusual manner ... a mariachi band ... If you thought that was weird ... She also learns that his body (which he had donated to science) had been stolen and put on the black market ... and his head was being used as a prop at a haunted house in Salem ...
Last week's nutjob Lincoln Burrows returned to sue Jeffrey Coho for his cross examination in the murdered judge case ... after his case was thrown out by the judge ... Unhappy with the ruling and with the words the judge threw at him ... Lincoln took justice into his own hands ... and bashed the judge with a shovel ... leaving him for dead ...
Emmy-award winner ... Jerry "Hands" returned with a perjury case for Alan ... and Alan's secretary left him for Jeffrey Coho ...
We also met Bethany's mother ... played by Delta Burke ... and Denny found out that he had had a relationship ... and relations with her ... and that Bethany may be his daughter ...

Unfortunately, they were dropped around February of this year, I believe. Pity too, both showed real promise but were severely underused. Sometimes you'd only see them in the opening credits!

I really loved Kerry Washington's Chelina ... She was so good in Season One and in Season Two's (the ported over Season One) episode "Race Ipsa" ...
I was hoping they would use her more often ...
and ... Now that Alan no longer has a secretary ... bring back BETTY WHITE! lol

WHOA!
First of all ... I was so happy to see BL on Sunday night again ... after such a long time ...
Second ... That Lincoln is sooooo frickin crazy and creepy ...
Third ... Love Constance Zimmer!
Fourth ... Denise and Alan ... Kinky!
Fifth ... WTF @ the ending! ... the crazy lesbian and the crazy Lincoln holding Shirley captive!
I can not wait until Tuesday at 10 ... as Alan said!

With last week's I must say thou creepy, Lincoln's rendition of The Chipmunk Song is very nice. (I'm a sucker for a ukulele.)
Also with this past show… Poor Bethany! I wonder what she had for Denny and I wonder if her mom and Denny will be together long. (As nice as Delta Burke is on BL she’s no Bethany!)
Megan Mullally was terrific on BOSTON LEGAL!

Did anyone catch BOSTON LEGAL tonight?
I think it was utterly the best episode I have seen in a long time ...
Wow the suspense ... wow Karen in such a serious role ...
And LOL @ the opening and Alan's comment about turning away ... and the zinger Renata threw at him LOL
This was truly Alan Shore at his best ... and Megan Mullally deserves an emmy nod for her role as Renata Hill ... the woman ... the murderess ...
Wow ... I am still sort of like whoa about this ep ... It was fantastic!

I didn't forget all about it ... LOL ... Just it was kinda like I was the only one really keeping it alive ... So it died a peaceful death LOL ...
But I sorta got inspired again tonight to at least post about Megan ... She was truly fantastic!
Such coldness ... such charm ... what a killer! In more ways than one LOL

If anyone is watching BOSTON LEGAL ... I just gotta say that was the funniest opening scene before the opening credits ...
Hands jammin to the Boston Legal theme song ... claiming its the song inside his heart when he thinks of the firm ... priceless!
And yay ... Bernie Peters is in it tonite ... as is the beautiful Gail O'Grady ...

What's going on with Boston Legal? 4 cast members let go!

I can't believe this. I don't watch it, regularly, but, I try to watch whenever I can. Now comes news that FOUR cast members have been let go from the show:

Exclusive: Boston Legal Cleans House, Drops Four Actors!
Heads are rolling over at Crane Poole & Schmidt.
Julie Bowen, Mark Valley, Rene Auberjonois and Constance Zimmer have all been let go from the show, sources tell me. ABC and David E. Kelley Productions declined comment, but a Legal insider confirms that "their contract options were not picked up."
To fill the void, Night Court's John Larroquette is joining the show as a series regular next season, but he won't be reprising his Emmy-winning role from Kelley's The Practice. Instead, he will be playing an attorney from the New York offices of CP&S. Also Dirt's Tara Summers will be coming on board as a young associate. Finally, current cast member Christian Clemenson (Jerry) has been upped to series regular.
Phew, that's a whole lot of change for one TV show. Thoughts on the big revamp, Legal fans?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm really sad about them letting Rene Auberjonois go. I've enjoyed him since I first saw him in
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

No!!!!!!!!!! Brad was growing on me again, Denise I liked but is not crucial, I LOVED Claire, AND PAUL?!?!? HOW CAN THEY GET RID OF HIM?!?!?!?

Damn. I've loved Julie Bowen since Ed, and loved her character on Boston Legal. I'm upset at all four that they let go, but Bowen and Auberjonois are probably the two I'll miss the most.
And did they really need to turn Hands Espenson into a contract character? He's good in small doses, but not every week!
If they wanted to turn a recurring character into contract, bring back Parker Posey as Marlene Stanger, or to give the show a more multi-generational feel, Freddie Prinze Jr. as Donny Crane.
And give more appearances for Betty White!!! I think I only saw her like...once this season!

I am not surprised about Mark Valley ... I had read a while back he shot a pilot for the fall and he wasn't going to be coming back for season 4 ...
I am so shocked about Constance and Julie ... and Rene!
Wow ... I am kinda speechless ...
Denise grew on me ... Paul grew on me ... and Claire was so good since day one ...
I wonder how they will write them off ... or if they will completely vanish like Lindsey et al. on THE PRACTICE lol ...
Speaking of THE PRACTICE ... I always wondered why DEK hasn't brought back any characters from that series or ALLY MCBEAL on BL ... well besides Betty White's THE PRACTICE character ... and a couple characters from BOSTON PUBLIC ... there really haven't been any characters coming back ...
Hmmm ...
I like John Larroquette ... I think he's great in anything he does ... and he was fantastic on THE PRACTICE ... I am sure he will be great on BL ...

I remember Mark Valley when he was on Days of Our Lives in 1994-1997. He was handsome then and he's still handsome now.
I hope his pilot gets picked up.

I don't think it did ...
Around the time Jeffrey Coho left ... it was reported that both had pilots being shot ... So when Craig left ... I knew that Mark would probably make it to the end of the season ... and then leave ...
I guess with BL's not so outstanding ratings ... ABC had them clean house a little ...
In retrospect I am not surprised Paul ... Denise and Brad ... were let go ... If you think about it ... they weren't really used a lot this season ... neither was Shirley ...
