I only watched it because it was a review disc, but actually found myself enjoy it immensely. WF can turn any material into gold. Who would have thought juice boxes could be so funny?

Me and the Mrs. watched:

Mr. and Mrs. Smith with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Found it to be just as enjoyable at home as it was in the theater.

Fantastic Four - another of those check your brain at the door and get a big barrel of popcorn movies. We just had an enjoyable evening at the movies in our Home Theater.

In between movies we watched our favorite short from the WDT Rarities - "Ben and Me". Has been a favorite for years and our VHS tape was literally worn out. So glad that it is on DVD.

Right now, I'm listening to Head of State on ABC. Like Junkie would say, it's one of those 'Leave your brain at the door' movies.

As for Laz's 10 Worst of 2005 list: I cannot believe that Crash, Jarhead and Mr. and Mrs. Smith are on that list. And how could you put Kong on there? Wow, I'm stunned...

Finishing watching Dr. Strangelove: Kubrick, Sellers in three roles (sane, insane, and very insane), Sterling Hayden, Slim Pickens riding the bomb, Ken Adams war room set, etc.
Best black comedy ever as it is unbelievably funny and yet credible about a nuclear holocaust.
Not to offend anybody on the web site as they are musical fans here, but Peter Sellers was robbed of the Best Actor Academy Award. Nobody else could have pulled being Dr. Strangelove.

King Kong vs. Godzilla

Good Heavens! I've not seen this movie since I was 9 years old! Other movies include of Wizard of Oz and King Kong Escapes.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Lots!!! Since I have made a goal on watching all, or at least most of my movies now that I have my new LCD HDTV!!!

13 Going On 30 : better than I expected.

Scooby Doo on Zombie Island: great SD movie. I recommend it to anyone.

Escaflowne: The Movie: The series are MUCH better. My advice is to watch it right after finishing the series. You'll like it more.

Finding Nemo: My favorite Pixar movie. And looks GORGEOUS!

Ice Age: "Cool". Just a very nice movie. But this time I didn't pay too much attention to it.

Shrek 2: Like it much more that the first part.

Shrek: Very funny but it takes a while for me to watch after seeing the second one.

Constantine: Better than I had remember it to be. And much more since I like so much these kind of themes; angels vs demons.

Resident Evil Apocaypse: Another one that I like more than the original.

Final Fantasy: Not a movie that I watch very often because of the slow pace, but a good movie in the end.

...not a movie but TMNT: Vol. 3 ; more TMNT nostalgia.

Gothika: today on HBO. Very so so movie.

Watched:

Light it Up - good movie with Usher Raymond and Forest Whitaker in a story about six misunderstood inner-city students trying to cope where there's little hope. Really good movie. Highly recommended.

Mischief - Light-hearted coming of age teen comedy with Doug McKeon and Kelly Preston. Lots of fun and lots of laughs. A more adult version of "Porky's".

The Great Scout and Cathouse Thursday - an all-star cast featuring Lee Marvin, Kay Lenz, Oliver Reed, Robert Culp and Elizabeth Ashley highlights this comic western about getting even when the going gets rough. Very funny movie, and very highly recommended.

I just saw "Walk The Line"
It was a very good movie, and the songs were great. Very oscar-worthy.

Last night I was watching the following, more or less, whilst rearranging my DVD collection (only to arrange it back to its original order, lol).

The Outsiders (Theatrical Version) - I've finally decided that while the music does make scenes more emotional, I'd probably prefer watching the new extended cut with the rock and roll score.

Paris When It Sizzles - First time watching this Holden/Hepburn flick, even though I've owned the DVD for nearly a year. I have to say the story is rather droll (a movie within a movie), the characters are really cliched (the drunken writer, the secretary who falls in love with him), but as usual, the acting is top notch. It's a lesser-known Audrey Hepburn film, for good reason, but it's fun mindless entertainment.

Phantom of the Opera - the 2004 musical, which I can't seem to get enough of, simply because I love the music. The scenes are okay for what they are, but the music is what really gets to me.

Escapay

I was in a rock and roll mood today so I just finished watching:

Hail! Hail! Rock 'n' Roll - a musical tribute to Chuck Berry featuring an all-star guest list that includes Eric Clapton, Etta James, Linda Ronstadt, Keith Richards and piano player extraordinair Johnny Johnson. Lots of good insight as to what makes Berry tick, and then the climactic concert at the end is just plain good old rock and roll at its best.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - don't really know why I watched this movie again. I have never really liked the interpretation of the Beatles album, but there are some decent moments in it. Just a fun movie to pass the time.

A Very Brady Christmas - Good reunion movie, needs a DVD release.

I watched Beavis and Butt-head: Do America and Team America: World Police. I think that Beavis and Butt-head are way funnier than Team America but it has its moments.

Get it. It has all four stories in separate versions so you can skip over "That Yellow Bastard", the weakest of the four stories ("The Big Fat Kill" is the best one).
