Happy Thanksgiving! (I know, the day is almost over).
As we like to say here, in Oklahoma, "I'm as full as a tick on a slow moving hound dog!"

Good food, good family, and good fun! That's what it's all about!!!

By the way, carrot cake goes great for dessert on Thanksgiving. The food was okay - could have used some spinach, corn, broccoli,
And how plain boring is turkey? I was really hoping I could interest a group of friends in going out for Chinese food (an occasion I'm always thankful for

). Same stuffed feeling, only it's a more enjoyable meal to stuff yourself full of. But they always do the family thing. Then on Christmas, they don't want to be within an inch of an Aunt, Uncle, or cousin, much less their own parents. But I refuse to eat Chinese food on Christmas day, it's just sacrilege. Fast food, any place that's open, usually suffices that meal. And very effectively, I might add. I've been content on going to McDonald's for Christmas ever since I saw Santa Claus: The Movie, with Dudley Moore. Had a profound effect on me.

I don't care for turkey either. I usually have a very small piece so as to not completely buck tradition, but I stick to the other foods. I'd prefer ham, but then, I prefer Christmas.

I had a fantastic Thanksgiving, thanks for asking. I don't eat meat (besides tuna and the occasional other fish product) so no turkey for me, even though my Thanksgiving hosts prepared ham instead of turkey (I didn't have ham either). I did however load up on stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberries and sweet potatoes. Mainly just sweet potatoes, actually. With lots of marshmallows.
As if anyone really cares.

It sounds like everyone else had a lovely day as well
