If you are going to buy "Madagascar" at Wal-Mart, don't fall for the bonus DVD gag. All but two items are already on the regular release of "Madagascar". "The Penguins Christmas Caper" is on the regular release and it isn't on the release that comes with the bonus disc. Because the bonus disc has the "Caper" short and four Christmas songs done by the Penguins. Not worth the six bucks extra for the bonus disc.
Just thought you should know.

Do you mean the Japanese release? I wanted to get this, but i wasn't sure if the 3 bonus discs would have english options or not.

Yeah, I ordered the JPN release. I know the bonus disk will most likely not have ENG subtitles. I got it because I highly doubht Disney will release the 4-disc set in the US. I also wanted the film cube.

The Sound of Music, 40th Anniversary. I've got the book of the Van Trapp Family and it's good. I bought it today and there was an insert of two other movies. Oklahoma and State Fair. Does anyone know when State Fair is available?

I'm also interested in the two dueling Walmart documentaries: Walmart-The High Cost of Low Price and Why Walmart Works and Why that makes some people C-R-A-Z-Y. I'm no big fan of Walmart, but the fact that two filmmakers actually took the time to make dueling documentaries about Walmart makes me darn curious.

I'll be happy too but I'm supposed to get mine mid December in the mail. The real surprise is that "On Your Mark" has an English Dub on the Ghbli shorts DVD.

From Rogers and Hammerstein, State Fair and Oklahoma also came out this week. I bought The Sound Of Music and State Fair. On State Fair, the 1962 version of State Fair is also on the DVD.
