I hate candy corn, it's just ewwww and it's probably true how I said they make candy corn. Then it gets all stuck together and you have a huge ball of candy corn. It's just nasty.
Siren - You should deffiently be a gargoyle... that would be awesome!!!
If I do, I'll be sure to post pics

My wings need one more coat of paint, which I have to do tomorrow night
I got these big latex "demon" wings that are red, so I repainted them. They also have a tail attached that I put a wire into so it has more bounce to it. At the end of the tail I glued on alpaca hair, so its like a lion's tail (originally it had a devil point), and then I braided it a bit and added beads. I'm wearing a tattered brown dress and black wig. I have fangs as well. And I will likely carry my bow, quiver, and arrows. I'm going not just as a gargoyle but as a Native American gargoyle, LOL
For feet I'm just wearing my moccassin boots. The make-up is latex body-make up. I have to do my arms, face, neck, and quite a bit of my chest. The dress is one I bought, at WalMart of all places, and I completely re-did it over. I cut it to pieces and gave it cleavage and new, more authentic looking buttons. Though I got scissor happy....I kinda made the cleavage too low and the thigh slits too high

It worked great a few years ago as a pirate wench costume

Post a picture everyone once Halloween is over.
If I had been able to keep any of my costumes from WDW, I'd probably go around in my Adventureland costume (with the kickass jacket). But we get billed for *ahem* taking costumes once we're finished with our employment, so I didn't take any.
Anyway, this year I've got candy duty, so I'll be sitting in the living room with my portable DVD player, as opposed to in the family room in front of the TV, that way the interruptions are shorter.

And I'm wearing a glorified garbage bag.
Props to you for going through all that effort- I'm sure it's gonna look awesome!

I wanted to dress up this year since I have to work on halloween, but the boss hasn't said yes or no, so I am told to take it as a no. It's a shame, too. I wanted an excuse to dress up and buy a costume.

I am probably going to hand out candy this year. Halloween H20 is coming on T.V., I'll just watch that.

As of tonight, I've decided: the Joker it is! I just spent a long time in Wal-Mart (from about midnight to 1:20am) finding what I need and I was surprised that they have just about everything. Just a few little essentials will need to be picked up tomorrow. My costumes are always last minute.

Bumping because I don't know what to be this year
Also, I want to see pictures of everyone's costumes from last year! Nobody every gave an update after Halloween. I would like to see what Aaron assembled from Wal-Mart apparell and if Siren was a Gargoyle!
Anyhow, last year AND the year before I was Dale from Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers. I can't believe with all these Grew-up-in-the-80s/90s-kids didn't know who the heck I was. I got a lot of "a bear" but also "kangaroo" and "reindeer on vacation."

Anyhow, I'll post a picture later.
Right now, I need advice on an easy to assemble costume because I don't like buying the premade ones. I also would like to be a Disney character (male) since oddly enough I hardly was one when I was a kid. Anyone have any ideas?
Or if you don't, please tell us what you are planning to be this year or what you were last year!
PICTURES!!!!!!!

I haven't "trick or treat"ed since I moved into my new house, about 3-4 years ago. I've either passed out candy, or watched tv. I find it to be a "kiddie" type of thing, if you catch my drift. So, I'm not going to be anything for Halloween, except for being myself.
Aaron, as the Joker. Scary.

America seems to do Halloween much better than U.K, we can either be a plastic skeleton, or a plastic vampire..

.
Needless to say I've never 'trick or treated'.
