Angel is taking itself way too seriously, and the brooding factor gets a bit tiresome. I'll have to see how the show evolves though. Buffy Season 1 was a mess, yet by Season 2 I was hooked beyond return.
And I would love to know how you feel about Buffy S5. It came in for a lot of stick, but it's one of my favourites
