What's with the imdb.com bashing here?

Yeah I know that some of the boards have trolls that just go around to start a problem, but they stick out like sore thumbs so you just learn to ignore them. Not hard to do. It's a decent film resource if you keep an open mind and don't believe everything you read.
Well I don't remember any IMdb bashing in this thread, but yeah I really don't care much into talking with most of the people, they're rather crazy.
But when it comes to movie resources, IMDb is the site to go!
I also remember Luke saying in the chat-room that he went to IMDB!

I especially like reading the trivia of movies with all the interesting facts, and I also enjoy reading the goofs sections where they spot out technical mistakes in the movies. Some people on the boards are actually quite helpful. My video-production teacher actually has his own imdb page with picture and everything

Hey Siren why is your Small One Site offline?

by Siren
Because I couldn't afford the domain name at the time. I hope to get it back up before Christmas. When it went offline, I had the choice...sirens-grotto or smallone. I was unemployed then and yeah, that's where some of my last bit of money went, but I finally got a new job and it pays well enough. I can afford renewing smallone. Actually, probably within the month it will be up.

The famous "motorcycle" pic gives me shudders on that site. That site contains some of the most disturbing stuff I've ever seen in my life.

That site has some of the most vile and disgusting things I've ever seen and LINKS TO PORN, I say take it down SuicideSeaside. Why hasn't anyone made any remark to the porn links on that site? Remember, this is a disney forum.

Thats funny since you put one up that had a link to Porn also. But I agree it needs to be removed. Alan you should also edit your posts and remove the link since you quoted him the link is there.

Going back to the imdb topic...
I love reading the "alternate versions" section for movies, especially those that get heavily edited/changed before it's released, or the ones that compare directors cuts to theatrical versions.
And a little shameless plugging here (I'm turning into Siren!), but in the alternate versions section of It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, you'll find a lengthy comparison of the DVD print versus the TCM (1980s extended) print. I did all of that one lazy weekend, and actually had it here at UD before I posted it at imdb.
