it would be more exciting if people didn't post their votes. then at the end we would be in much suspense about which movies won!
i liked his idea of pm'ing or emailing the answers.

I'm surprised so many people are voting for "Hercules" over "Mulan". Personnaly speaking I feel like "Hercules" is just a second rate "Aladdin".
I agree Matty

I thought that was one of the easier choices and went with Mulan.

I wouldn't compare Hercules and Aladdin, they were both differnt from each other, though I do agree I wish Herc had been more serious and true to Mythology, and with out all the gospel and goofy references to the future...

, but then Aladdin had many of those references too... Any way I still thought Herc had it's good points, and it is one of the select few disney dvd's that I own.
But now lets try to get back on topic.

This is your last chance to vote! Poll closes midnight tonight, and some of the winners are already clear, but we have many that are
tied and we need a tie breaker!!! So please vote soon, who knows your vote may just be the vote that makes a difference, and even though some titles may be winning now, that could always change so
VOTE!!!!!

you're not alone choco!! i emailed my votes. our choices will be the surprising deciding votes!!
i'm surprised some are picking saludos amigos over fantasia. most of the time those movies (saludos/caballeros) are not thought highly of. i'd like to hear why people voted for those over the fantasia movies.

I voted for Saludos Amigos over Fantasia, because, as much I as like Fantasia, WORDS just add something, for me at least.

words, words, words.. everybody needs words. some of my most enjoyable cartoon watching experiences are old "tom & jerry" shorts, where not a word was spoken...
i really like both fantasia & saludos.. i just think, as far as animation goes, fantasia wins out.

Well Round 1 is officially over, actually it was about 22 minutes ago.
First here were my picks, incase you were wondering. The ones in bold are the ones that made it.
1. Cinderella
2. Sleeping Beauty
3. Aladdin (but this was a very tough choice)
4. The Lion King
5. The Sword in the Stone
6. Alice in Wonderland
7. Never seen either, really, so couldn't vote The Rescuers won
8. Tarzan
9. Mulan (again very hard, but had to go with this one)
10. The Hunchback of Notre Dame
11. Lady and the Tramp
12. No preference Oliver and Company won
13. Dumbo (never seen this movie, but find Pinocchio just too disturbing)
14. The Fox and the Hound
15. Treasure Planet
16. Again no preference Fantasia/Fantasia 2000 won

I just enjoyed Three Caballerros (spelling?) more than any of those.
I too enjoyed older cartoons like Tom and Jerry, the old Mickey Mouse shorts, and the Looney Tunes, but they were more comic than anything. Fantasia, to me at least, seemed more about the classical music than anything.
