Mine:

1. Ariel and Eric - What other couple have saved each other's life, at least once! :P

2. Belle and Beast - I love the whole story of how they came to be. You can tell they really love one another.

3. Pocahontas and John Smith - They overlooked differences and fell in love, plain and simple! :D

You forgot all the other couples listed here:

Peter Maza & Diane Maza
Maggie Reed & Derek Maza/Talon
Maggie Reed & Brooklyn (kind of  )
Janine "Fox" Xanatos & David Xanatos (corrected about post)
Princess Katharine & The Magus (gross)
Margot Yale & Brendan
:P

I actually liked the Princess Katharine & Magus thing.
But actually, you forgot it was Tom, Princess Katharine chose. Magus watched from afar, sad. He was older then her, but not as old as he looked, because of the white hair. Which I believe happened with a spell by accident. And in those times, it was not unheard of for a man to marry a woman 20 years younger then he.

And poor Brendan. He needs to divorce.

Also Macbeth and Gruoch...that was a sad couple.

And let's not forget....Dominique Destine and Macbeth. I knew that marriage wouldn't last

As much as I love the old classics, the romance wasn't well done. Snow White and the Prince didn't have much chemistry and same with Cinderella and Prince Charming. Aurora and Prince Phillip had some but still. I'm more of a fan of the newer couples.

My favorites,

Mickey & Minnie( How can you be a Disney fan and not like this couple?)
Donald & Daisy
Jack & Sally
Aladdin & Jasmine
Simba & Nala

No, she did. She and Griff loved eachother. They just had a difference in opinion on what to do about the war.....a very realitic relationship twist indeed. When the episode started in the Gargoyles Universe, we came into a bad point in Griff and Una's relationship. Una and Leo both just wanted to protect the magic shop and let the humans deal with "their" war. Griff on the other hand, was more like Goliath. He saw the bigger picture. That if England fell under the control of the Nazis, they would be effected then. Una and Leo were in denial that it would eventually effect them. As Goliath said, "Human problems become gargoyle problems."

After Griff's apparent death, Una and Leo became mates. I forget what Greg Weisman said about their relationship between the three of them after that. It was a love triangle indeed to have Griff back...and younger then both Leo and Una. From the looks of things, Griff left with Arthur to travel the world. Leaving Una and Leo to watch over the magic shop and London together, as well as find more English gargoyles to join the clan.

I am sure more of their story will make it to the Slave Labor Gargoyles comics that is suppost to be out later this year. If it sells well, a lot of questions will be answered.

I look forward to those comics then. It was prob one if not the best Disney cartoons that isnt based on a movie.

tHanks for the info! Youre right Griff did leave w/ Arthur in the episode where they were trying to find excalibur.

Ariel and Eric!

She saved his life, and he fell in love with her voice! When she finally get to know him, she had lost her voice...

A impossible love that in the end conquers all!

Is that really the Beast's name? Is this in the movie or somewhere else? I never knew that!

As for the topic, my favorite couples:
Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip (of course!)
Belle and the Beast
Ariel and Erice
Aladdin and Jasmine
Cinderella and Prince Charming
Bambi and Faline
Lady and Tramp
Robin Hood and Maid Marian
Hercules and Megara

I know they're not animated, but I love Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan!
