I can't stand any of the teeny-bopper boys, disney-created or not. Jesse, i can never understand what he is saying and he is soooo over-used on every movie/tv soundtrack (the same song on KP and IP). I think he is an Aaron Carter clone.
And I don't think it's very nice either to say that certain people should die just because you don't think they can sing or act. Imagine if you were the celeb and you saw someone write that about you, how would you feel?

Maybe I'm just hearing the wrong songs, but I've never heard Aaron Carter actually sing.

Sorry Escapay, but I REALLY don't like Lindsay Lohan. She just kinda creeps me out. Sorry this is really off topic, but HOORAY! I made it to Escapay's WTF Quote # 6...actually now that I think about it that's not something to be real proud of...

First of all, I'm really shocked of most of the posts I'm reading.
I mean, seriously, I have never seen any of these kind of violent bashings before.
Forgive me for saying this, but it's like you guys are treating her like a cruel, evil person on this planet.
I mean, words like "I hate her" or "Kill her" just because you think she is not a talented singer is really unfair. I mean, what if it happened to all of you? How would you people feel?
If you think she is not a good singer, I'll respect your opinion... just don't say "I hate her," because "Hate" is a strong word, and "Kill her," because it's a very cruel thing to say.
Now think about it... what if I was selected to be singing on the Disney Channel? Would you people treat me the same way?
We all have rights to dislike anything, that's true, but saying words like "Hate" or "Kill him/her" is too strong and way beyond thrashing.
Hilary was born as a singer, and there's nothing wrong with that. Even her family is really impressed with her singing, and believes that they have a star in the future.
So if you want to dislike Hilary, do it non-violently and don't say those words like "Hate" or "Kill her".
As for me, I think Hilary is an okay singer. Not the best, but not the worst.

Hilary Duff seems really snobby to me. And yes, I will say Jesse is exactly like Aaron.

and why NOT?? I (and my friends) would say that to her face granted the oppertunity.

Maybe......... I don't know you now, since this is the first time we've "conversed"........

First of all, I agree with Sorceror Mickey. You shouldn't say things like "hate" and "kill." I'm sorry, but saying someone should die because your personal opinion dictates that their singing is bad is just cruel. It is, in fact, just as cruel as saying someone should be killed because of the color of their skin or their IQ. Think about it.
Secondly, I don't hate Hilary Duff (one "l" and one "i" by the way), but I'm not her biggest fan. I guess I should say that I think she's a mediocre singer and a pretty bad actress. Though Lindsay Lohan obviously has an eating disorder and an incredibly low self-esteem, I do think she has better acting talent than Ms. Duff. Her choice of film scripts is pretty questionable, though. The only films I really enjoyed her in are The Parent Trap and Mean Girls.

I wasn't going to say this, but I feel that is necessary to explain why Hilary and Haley are 'dumb as a box of rocks'.
When I got their luggage out of the back of the van, they just picked it up by the handles and started lugging it in. Not waiting for me to stand it up and pull the handle. When I stopped Haley and pulled out the handle, she says, "Oh, I thought it got broken off in the ride from the airport". When I fixed Hilary's she looked at me, "I could never figure this out, " she says as they waltz into the hotel. No tip, no nothing, not even a THANK YOU!!

Any more stories, dvdjunkie? They're rather fun to read!

Kinda off topic question:
Didn’t Hilary Duff leave Lizzie and Disney Channel on not so great of terms?? I seem to recall hearing something to that effect and that is why she doesn’t want anything to do with Disney anymore. Is this true or have I just mixed up some stories?

TV Guide quote:
Hilary Duff's greatest-hits disc, Most Wanted, bowed at No. 1 on Billboard with sales of 208,000 copies

Hilary Duff rules, okay.

208,000 copies makes it #1? Wow- granted, that's good, but it must be a slow week for music.

I think the reason why Hilary Duff is so successful is that she has top-rate producers behind her laying down some awesome tracks. Too bad Hilary is a part of them. Her singing is barely intelligible. Such a waste of good lyrics. Oh, and she absolutely CANNOT act. Playing the same role over and over again is not acting, it's just being a visible movie personality.
Lindsey is a genuine talent. I question her repeated affiliation with Disney, but at least she has a real role coming soon in the form of Robert Altman's new ensemble. You know, Robert Altman, a person that actually CREATES film. Anyway...Lindsey also has a decent voice, but she's nothing extraordinary.
Jesse McCartney is just another one of those adrogynous pre-teens blocking the airwaves and hogging exposure from more deserving artists. Despite being in college, and trying to listen to other forms of music, I can't escape these ubiquitous no-talents. It gets very irritating. Oh, and I think the comments above were more tongue-in-cheek, I don't think people would actually hurt another person. People need to lighten up.

Where have you been when threads like these came:
"Rosie O' Donnell Shocks The Nation"
"Vote Greatest American"
"I have some news about the Great Mouse Detective sequel"
"Animated Film Survivor"

And then all of sudden Lindsey jumps out and says,
"NO! I WON'T let you do this!"
Gaston: You aren't with us? Your against us! Bring the old man!
*Throws Micheal Eisner in the basement*
Eisner: GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME!
Gatston: We can't let them come over and warn the creature!
Lindsey: LET US OUT!
Gaston: We'll rid the villiage of this beast! Who's with me?
UD: YEAH!
Sorry I LOVE The Mob song!

Timon,
I agree with you on the first three threads--there certainly were some violent bashings. While the Animated Film Survivor did have some interesting battles, I don't think of them as "violent bashings"...or was that a joke?
