I guess it does. I think the 3rd movie that I saw it with was Bad News Bears.

And Dukes of Hazzard will rock, I watched it as a kid, I still catch it sometimes in Re-Runs and I plan to see the movie next week, And I am no teenager

Nope, it won't we have tons of stupid teenagers that will watch it just like they watch the television series.
The only people who will see it are the horny teenagers and the slackers... :P

Just Myself, What makes you think the only people that will see Dukes of Hazzard are the Horny Teenagers and the Slackers, I am neither a Horny Teenager or a slacker. You need to remember that it was a very popular show back in its day and had a huge following. I knowquite a few people who are going to see the movie, And none of them are Horny Teenagers or slackers either. Maybe you need to keep stupid coments like that to yourself. I cant wait to see how Sean William Scott and Johnny Knoxville will do as Bo and Luke.

memnv, the only reason JM thinks that horny little boys will see Dukes of Hazzard is because of Jessica Simpson. However, I agree with you that Dukes was a very good and popular show in its time. I plan on seeing it, and I'm a 20 year old male whose only exposure to the original was a few reruns on TNN (before it was Spike). And it's probably more because it looks like a fun movie, not because of the actors. JM hates Jessica Simpson, so he's trashing a decent movie because of her.

It would help if it WAS a decent movie. Ok, so some fans of the show will see it too. But must won't. Know why? It's a disgusting exploitation. I've seen the original show, it's quite good. But this movie is just a se oriented way for Warner Bros to make a quick buck. So I will take back the comment about horny teens and slackers, but I won't take back the fact that it will not be a decent movie and that most fans of the show won't see it.

PS: And yes, I do dislike Jessica Simpson. But I don't hate her. No, that would be Alice who hates her. :P

This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

How can you say that it will not be a decent movie when you have not seen it. Maybe you should not make assumptions like that. All it does is make's you look like an ASS. If you pay attention to what has been going on in the movie world lately, the big thing they are doing the last few years is Remakes and Tv shows to movies. Some of the ones they have done are Starskey and Hutch, Brady Bunch, Beverly Hillbillies,3- Adams Family movies, Bewitched, 2- Charlies Angels, The Avengers, 2-Mission Impossibles w/3rd on way, Little Rascals, to name a few. Some were good, some sucked, but it is a trend and People will go and see it. I think it may even be one of the surprise hits of the summer.

I haven't seen Dukes nor do I plan to. I can tell from the previews they chopped up that show big time. Made it into nothing but sex appeal, when the original show was good enough for a family to watch together. Not now when "i think something bumped up into my under carriage" kind of lines. And several of the original stars of Dukes saw screenings and they are saying exactly that. That they just go into sex whenever they can. Personally, I don't even like the series all that much either, but, I certainly feel the movie will be worse. But what can one expect from a movie that stars Johnny "Jackass" Knoxville and Jessica Simpson

Sex Appeal- That was part of what the series was about back in its day too. Catherine Bach was there in her little "Daisy Dukes" Shorts, that is where the term came from, for the guys, And Tom Wopat and and John Schneider for the ladies, Cant leave out the General Lee for the guys to drool over too. And then for laughs we had, Roscoe, Enos, and Boss Hoggs. The only bad year was the season the Bo and Luke where away and we had the Cousins Coy and Vance. The Show was so popular it was on Friday Nights.

Went and saw Dukes of Hazzard with my 4 year old son. It was a pretty good movie, First thing my son asked when it was done was, Can we get it on DVD Daddy.

The theater was about half way to capacity and there where more Females there than Guys.

Well, obviously the trailer's not attached to Dukes, even though I heard somewhere that it would be. I guess that leaves The Brothers Grimm and Valiant as candidates for showing the trailer. Both are possibilities because Disney showed the trailer for the first film in front of Monsters, Inc. (and WB returned the favor by allowing Pixar to create a new MI trailer specifically for HP showings) and the teaser for this fourth film in front of Sky High. I think between Grimm and Valiant, it's more likely Valiant will receive it since Brothers Grimm may be too dark a film for WB to attach HP to (every HP trailer to date has been with a G or PG film).

So far, it looks as if the new HP movie will be PG-13. Maybe it will be in front of Bros. Grimm. I still think it'll show up before "Corpse Bride"

I just saw Dukes today, and I really liked it. I am a fan of the old series and the new movie is very faithful to the series. The one thing I didn't like was the cussing. So many bad words, when the series hardly ever cursed. I liked it though, and the main three characters were played awesomely. I was worried about SWS and Johnny Knoxville but they were really good, and Jessica Simpson was born to play Daisy (her actings not that bad) (and shes hott)

The only reason there was no cussing on the tv show was that they did not do that back then. The one character I did not like the casting for was Roscoe. Everyone else were good choices. I also like how they had Enos and Cletus. For those of you who dont know Cletus was the deputy when Enos was gone doing his spinoff series
