Now that i think about it, Nobody can legally own the film "STAR WARS" (1977) on dvd because according to george luca$,that film no longer exists.

It has been replaced by a digitally enhanced film entitled "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope"
and contains scenes such as greedo firing at han solo with a blaster at point blank range and missing,a scene in which han solo steps on a ruthless gangsters tail named jabba the hutt and somehow manages to not piss him off,and an exhilerating lightsaber dual between darth vader and obi wan kenobi in which the evil lord vader confronts ol' obi wan with his menacingly sinister hot pink lightsaber.

Hopefully someday greedy ol' georgey will release the original film on DVD.

I only have 3, mainly because I just recently started my collection and I mostly buy DVD's when I find a good sale.

I am proud to say that I completed the collection in April, owning all the films on legit R1 DVDs, excepting for the unreleased and a few OOP of which I recorded from TCM . Gave me a chance to see a lot of fantastic movies.

I have hardly any of those films. Of these, I only own Snow White and Frankenstein on DVD. Some of the other films I love immensly however (Silence of the Lambs). How some of those films got on the list is a bewilderment to me.
