I agree it doesn't look very authentic, which is too bad, because I think Cathy Moriarty would be a great voice actor (she already did some in Casper, the first one that is, even though she played a different character in Casper Meets Wendy too), either as a villain or comic relief.
And don't give up on "2D" yet... weren't we hearing that Rapunzel might have been scratched as a 3D project in favor of a turn towards traditional animation? Did anything develop from that, or did it turn out to just be a rumor?

That is the worst paint job ever. Whoever made that has no artistic talent. I ran to IMDB too! This is not real. Don't bother beleiving it. That picture is a horror to this huge Disney Villain fan.

Whoever drew it probably still poured a lot of work into it. It's no Disney, but that doesn't mean they have no artistic talent. I feel sort of bad seeing people insulting the art itself.
It was probably some fanboy/girl who wrote a story that they WISHED was a Disney movie and wishful thinking turned into one huge non-rumour. The artist may not even know their work is here and being played as the real thing. Like what happened on a Spirit message board, and one of their fanfictions were Spirit IV and they had a really good movie poster-looking thing. So good it was believed by some, and then the artist came on and explained it was just for fun, for her story. This is probably the case here. Wishful thinking. No need to beat down on the art. If you think you can do better, then please, prove it. Otherwise let's just discuss the so-called movie itself, rather then ripping into an artist for what may have been innocent fan art.

That is true. I am sorry. It is just I hate hearing all these rumors that never come true. The logo from the movie is excellent

. It is just that being a huge Disney Villain fan this image was a horror to me.

I am as well a huge fan of Disney Villains, as well as movie villains in general, as most of you already know. And the art jumps at me as kind of Mulan-ish. Although I like the title and logo, I think the character could use a little more different look. Horns are Maleficent's thing. Staffs are also her thing. But alas, this is very fake.

I ADMIT ITS NOT A REAL FILM.
Im an A level student in the uk and part of my course was to come up with an idea for a film.
the empress was the film i came up with. a new disney film that would try and bring back the magic of the old style.
i had to design a poster and a slogan.
EMPRESS POSTER
http://photobucket.com/albums/b152/enya ... andice.jpg
also they arent horns its her crown which is covered by the head dress
QUEEN IONI DESIGN.
http://photobucket.com/albums/b152/enya ... =ioniq.jpg
The story of the Empress follows the plight of a young Scribe called Ivan who is thrown into a terryfiying war when his monestry is destroyed by the army of Lantania, ruled by the evil Queen Ioni.
whilst travelling to saftey he meets Faran the leader of the rebels who tells him they are marching on the evil queens land to save the rightful Empress Anata who has been seized and locked up inside the Queens castle.
As the journey ebbs on Ivan discovers there is Evil within the rebellion determined for Ioni to be the Dark Empress.
Will Ivan rescue the Anata and end Ionis reign of terror or will the world fall into unbearable Darkness

You delibertly tried to decieve people. Plus you complimented your own art while you were still trying to pull off the fraud, kinda cocky and manipulative.
I think it's great you want to have more 2-D animation from Disney. I do to. And I think it's great you are writing your own story that you wish would be a Disney movie, but first off, Disney will not likely do 2-D animation for a while and second, we are all lowly servents to Disney, the last thing they will do is listen to story ideas from us.
If you wanted a better reception, I suggest you don't try that publicity stunt again.

Wow... didn't think I'd see
this rumor popping up again! Heh... I heard about this a while ago. And it seems it's a one-man campaign, too!
enyafreak, I dunno what your goal is in perpetuating this
Empress rumor, but just let it die! It's been almost
2 years now - at least from
this Disney Corner thread I remember. And from a quick search, you've
kept up an impressive charade at that forum for a while now! And you've tried
spreading it around to
other forums, as well.
Well, "minister_frollo" - that kind of behavior won't be tolerated here. We just had an "interesting" episode with someone who insisted that a
Great Mouse Detective sequel was on its way, and that thread got nowhere fast. Making false claims about new Disney films is bad enough, but you're doing it, apparently, just to fish for praise on your pet project. O_o
So, at the risk of UD forum members
again crying foul and making censorship accusations (:P), I'm going to lock this thread. I don't want to leave it open for people to ridicule you after the fact. That doesn't exactly contribute much to the discussions here.

I modded the title and moved it to off-topic, so people just arriving to Gen Discussions and starting to read it didn't get the wrong idea this is real before they read the end.
