Aaah that's great news then! 8) Thanks. I believe there were some ZADDP entries that discussed Disney's last dark age. I think those must be fascinating. Thing is, I sometimes find stuff not necessarily considered the most interesting by other people, very interesting. For example, I'm very intrigued by the behind-the-scenes story of these last six years at Disney. I'm also highly interested in the 1940s anthology features. even though many people unfortunately don't appreciate them. :(

Just for the sake of offtopicality, I'm here to announce that I've just seen "The War of the Roses" on DVD.

Episode 28
It's Super-Sized Mailbag Episode #4! Last week's show continues with a slew of interesting emails and a rather fun voicemail. Discussion runs the gamut and some of the topics discussed include:

*One listener's elaborate conspiracy theory alleging that Disney and the writers of the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy stole their ideas from a George Lucas video game (and my rebuttal)

*Is there a link between Jafar and Osama bin Laden?

*Cowboys and Gangsters in the Great Movie Ride

*And much more!

This episode is now available!

(No earth-shaking singing, I'm afraid)

Episode 30:

A Hard Look at Jim Hill's Comments on the Hall of Presidents in the new "Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2009"

I'm a fan of these guys, but I have to take issue with one thing in particular, and it has to do with Barack Obama!

(Note: It's been a while since I've been behind the mic and one of my settings was off so you may hear more background noise in this episode than you're used to -- my apologies for that!)

Welcome back Aaron!!!

I haven't heard you in 2 years since you left the podcast back in 2007 and took a long break for the entire 2008, and now you're back for show #30. I remember last year when Jesse did the "Mousepod", and it ended around Spring of 2007, but his last podcast was on July 4th of 2007 where Jesse gives us greetings from America and played "Golden Dream" from "American Adventure" show at Epcot. What a way to end "Mousepod" with a bang. He gave up the "Mousepod" and this site now becomes "Pocket Symphony" and focus on not just Disney, probably something else. I missed "Mousepod" very much! :(

I'm glad you're took a year off of your show, but I hope you're back on show #30. I will have to listen to it. Keep up the good work and you will look forward to future episodes soon.

I've launched a new domain name tonight. You can now access Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod at www.aaronwallaceonline.com -- No worries, though, www.aaronspod.com still works and takes you to the same place, so your bookmarks won't be affected.

I've given the site a small facelift too.

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod Episode #31 - "The Top 25 Best Things at Epcot, Part 2"

In episode #29 I began a countdown of my Top 25 Favorite Things About Epcot. I split the show up after #13 and at long last, the remainder of that countdown is here! Attractions, shows, restaurants, foods, fireworks -- *anything* is fair game! I also consider the celebration (or lack thereof) for Epcot's 25th anniversary.

Head over to iTunes and subscribe if you haven't already. Hopefully this will this encourage everyone to reflect on their own favorite things about Epcot and share them with me here!

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod Episode #33 - "Trip Report with D23 and Crappy Park Hours"

This episode picks up where the last one left off -- my friend and fellow Disney freak Courtney (UD's own crunkcourt) is back to discuss our most recent trip to Walt Disney World. Listen as we talk about our efforts to squeeze in park hopping in spite of the parks closing while the sun's still out. We eventually found the debut issue of "D23" at a gift shop, prompting an extended rangent (rant + tangent).

We also hit on the following:

• Riding an attraction with a stranger who's riding it for the first time
• Getting stuck on Space Mountain just before lift-off
• Riding Fantasyland rides with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Chip, and Dale!
• Flashback to the Year of a Million Dreams and Courtney's most unusual "dream" at Stitch's Great Escape
• A comparison of the new Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party to the old Family Fun Day Parade
• A review of the new T-Rex Café at Downtown Disney (we pigged out -- and eavesdropped!)

Plus, I give a quick review of Up and announce the topic of my next countdown show!

Be sure to subscribe to the show on iTunes if you haven't already! (You might need to re-subscribe on iTunes, so check your subscriptions to make sure you're getting the episodes!)

I hope everyone enjoys it!

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod Episode #34 - "The Top 20 Best Things About Disney's Hollywood Studios" (Part 1)

In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Disney's Hollywood Studios, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod is counting down the Top 20 Best Things About Disney's Hollywood Studios. This first part counts down numbers 20 through 11 and anything is fair game -- rides, shows, restaurants, shops, vendor carts, you name it! There are surely a few surprises in store.

Download the show and check out a classic Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod countdown show!

I'm really happy with this episode and have enjoyed putting it together much more than the others I've done since returning. I hope that's true for all of you too! I love this theme park and so I'm trying to celebrate it in grand style! :D

This episode runs 1:06:36, in continuation of my effort to keep every episode around an hour or less and on a weekly basis.
