I mean my 5-year old cousion learned 2 of the worst cuss words from kids in his class! A KINDERGARDEN CLASS!
So now it seems a bit pointless to avoid kids from seeing movies with cuss words. That and whenever I saw movies with cuss words, I never noticed the words until I learned them.
Well actually most of the times when children know cus words it's because they learned it from their parents. Not from watching movies. These x next over neibors of mine had children and they had terrible mouths and when you listen to the parents talk it's quite obvious where they get it from. So my point is you shouldn't let a little child watch a rated "R" film because it's totally inappropreate for them. And instead of having your child watch moives or TV all day go out and play with them for atleast an hour. You can certainly use the exersize and they can too. Saying you're too old or too tired to play with your kids is not a good excuse. A better excuse would be "I'm sick may be later."

Yeah I agree with that. I just think there are alot of crazy parents out there who let their kids watch "R" rated films. However if it's just for bad language, it probably isn't THAT bad if you teach them the right stuff. But then again those films probably wouldn't be entertaining for kids anyway, I guess my arguement was for PG-13 movies instead since alot of parents worry about that when it isn't that bad if it's just language, but if it's for violence or sexual content, the parents have to really think about it and....
that's it! I don't find myself contributing that much anymore.

Well you don't wan't your children asking akward questions after watching a rated "R" movie. Because it's a little too early to be talking about the birds and the bees if you know what I mean.

Yeah, but for some reason I watched movies with those refrences(PG-13 ones though) and they all went over my head until I found out what the sexual stuff was. I guess it depends on the kid.
Wait a minute, Zoltack aren't you the one that said you were going to show your kids South Park when you became a parent!

Yeah, it was South Park, Team America and Beavis and Butt-Head. Oh you can't imagine the kinds of questions they will ask me after watching TA.

PEOPLE do. CHILDREN don't.
I remember the big fuss that came out when Power Rangers began airing back in 1993. There was even a news story about two boys who beat a girl to death because they were playing Power Rangers, where they teach you that in order to win, you must beat the enemy to death (how many times have we seen the megazord take the sword and just strike at the bad guy two or three times and see him explode?)
