Another review has rolled in, but it's not finished, yet. The bonus material section will be covered tomorrow, but the A/V portion is done and VERY in-depth:

I think I've made my decision. I'll upgrade my Ultimate Toy Box to the two new SEs. Since there are so many DVDs I want to buy in the fall, I'll wait until the day after Christmas (which, luckily enough, is when Toy Story 2 comes out) to pick up both. That way, I won't feel so bad about double dipping since I'll be getting both for cheap and I'll be using the inevitable Best Buy giftcards I'll receive.

Yeah, ebays auction for Toy Story dvd prices have come way down from just a few days ago. I guess people have found out that it is to be released soon and have stoped the bidding wars that was going on for some time. I'm going to get the new one when it comes out also. 8)

This DVD sounds sooo good! So far the bonus features are:
Disk 1:
Commentary

The Legacy of Toy Story

Cars Sneak Peek

DTS ES

Disk 2:
The Making Of Toy Story

Deleted Scenes - -

"Movie Introduction"

"Sid Tortures Toys" (which is really an extended version of an existing scene in the movie)

"Rain".

Then there are several deleted concepts presented in story-board form:

Alternate Opening: Buzz Lightyear Cartoon (interesting...actually pretty cool)

Alternate Opening: Western Shootout (similar to what's already in the film but a little more stylized)

Woody's Nightmare

Eastern Gate

Shakes the Rattle

Sid's Comeuppance

Behind the Scenes

Designing Toy Story

Story

Production Materials

Music and Sound

Publicity Materials

Toy Story Treats - -
Hobbies

Dreams

Space Rangers

Games

Rex at Play

Salesman

Night Time

Thrill Ride

TV Time

Professor Rex

Fast Food

Alien Encounter

Go Fish

I didn't know Toy Story is coming out next week.

I'll be getting this, but the coverart is just AWFUL! It seems amateurish, when compared to the other pixar DVD covers (finding nemo, monsters incs). I really liked the original cover better (You know, the mainly silver and metallic one) That was a lot better designed.

It seems like they photoshopped everything on this cover!

Noo! I don't think I will be able to even touch the features until the weekend of next week. Oh wait, there's a camping that weekend. I won't be able to watch the special features until the week after that. :( Maybe I'll just watch them after school then I'll do my homework.

Does anyone know if this is the same Sneak Peek to Cars, that was included in the Incredibles DVD
