Why now though? Even before tablets, even in the '90s kids stopped playing with toys around age 6-7 and started playing video games. There have even been PlayStations since the mid '90s.

Videos games were just one of many options for kids when 90's consoles were around. toys were still king I think.
Compare it to today when everyone has a super computer in their pocket, usually some kind of other portable gaming device, like a switch, and maybe a traditional console and/or pc. We also live in a post toys r us world. at least here in the us. Times have certainly shifted away from toys as we knew them.

I know that I`m a little late, but my impression of the teaser was that it was a good one. I liked the build-up to the tablet. But it was unfortunately too short. The part of Mr. Potato Head taking off the eyes of his wife was clever, though.

I didn't know the lilypad was supposed to be a tablet. I just assumed it was an analogue for cellphones or A.I., which would be sort of interesting to explore, I guess.

Not sure hardbackyoyo deserves the rudeness, which unfortunately has become the norm here (shocker there are less posts than ever, who wants to be harassed?). In fact, I agree with hardbackyoyo for the most part. There's nothing incredibly wrong with TS4 unless you already accepted 3 as an ending, even though it was never going to be an ending.

Yeah i also think pre 2020s, consoles, phones, electronics etc. were more of a 12+ thing, whereas now literally even 2 year olds carry them around. Over a year ago around June when i was working in this not named place there was a mother in line with her 2-4 year old toddler in his stroller and i was so shocked to see him carry his own tablet scrolling through tiktok and i was like would be a great opportunity for TS5 to discuss that social commentary and here we are.

Yeah, sarcasm doesn't involve tagteaming somebody to discourage them from posting something that disagrees with you. Tbh, most of your posts come across like AI, it's hard to find anything you say genuine, everything sounds like some disturbing, veiled attack on some poster or another. Not sure how you even know anything about this place to comment on me at all? Just another comment to add to the pile that sounds creepy and stalkery. It reminds me of lavendargold, who verged on death threats and was most likely a dusneyspirit alter. I expect disneyspirit has had 5 or 6 alters here at this point.

I believe this digression was about acknowledging you were openly rude to hardbackyoyo, not the first member you've done it to, I guess because you think dogpiling somebody alongside PatchOfBlue will cause someone who disagrees with you to self-censor and stop posting. If you only want your opinion to be spoken, start a podcast. And I said all that without any personal attacks, which you've made several of here and in the Tangled thread. I know trying to instigate someone to insult you in return is the way you usually get out of having this kind of behavior moderated because then both posters are considered in the wrong somehow, that's exactly why I always make sure not to respond in kind.
