It wouldn't surprise me... maybe they're waiting to see how Sony's Muppet releases sell too.

The Muppets gets a rating: PG:

http://www.toughpigs.com/rated-m-for-muppet/

I really wanted the film to get a G rating. Though it's not the first time a Muppet film got a PG rating, the first two were It's A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie and The Muppets' Wizard Of Oz.

not surprising.

now we can speculate what the MPAA's reasons are! :)

i'm guessing it's for "scenes of comic violence, action, and peril, mostly involving puppets"

That is clever. Another Parody and it's so straightforward. Props to Disney for Creative Parody trailers that don't get old or stupid :kermit:

Defintly lovin the parody trailers, my fav. is Green Lantern and Pig with Frog Tatoo.

As for the new Muppet album, Ok Go was perfect for the theme, loved the video, course they did a overkill with the ending, I love Alkaine Trio's remake of Movin Right Along.

This film could be BIG for Disney since there's no more Potter, also like you guys I'm waiting for The 1st Muppet Movie/Muppet Caper/X-Mas Carol to show up on blu, I almost bought Muppet from Space, luckly I stood my ground haha
