The physical release was November 24th, it's just the digital release that's out on December 10th.

Mine has the same date as yours (Dec. 1st), but it shipped Monday morning. It may come tomorrow or Saturday if I'm lucky; I tracked the order and it's only a city away from me.
And here I thought the digital release was a week earlier than the physical release?

I love love love that we finally get the little instrumental melody before Part of your world, but it's messed up in the soundtrack

.
Also, while they say that the Poor Unfortunate Souls reprise is sung by Patt Carol, it's actually Jodi Benson. That bothered me a lot cause it's not right lol. Also, the track is missing Ursula's (not Vanessa's) laugh at the end. But what's weird is that Jodi's laugh is still there and it sounds menacing as heck! The orchestration also seems a bit off, maybe it's cause I'm not used to listening to the song without the video.
Also surprised that there wasn't a POYW reprise art in the booklet. strange.
But honestly, this is the soundtrack that I've always wanted. The complete score and the songs remastered, especially right after the blu ray release. Apparently this is the 2014 restoration. This is definitely one of my favorite releases in general.
Are the instrumental music from the scene when Eric playes a flute and looks at the Ocean by night included? The scene when he comes under Ursula's spell as Vanessa arrives on the beach singing?

I got my package today!

Avoid spoilers below.
The front cover looks even darker in person than it does online, although I think that's a good choice since this film was full of shadows and darker colors. The back cover is really gorgeous. Most of the little art pieces throughout are very nice, naturally ("Kiss the Girl" is probably my favorite), although there seems to be a few less than for TLK and SB (to me), and most of them are moments of Ariel throughout "Part of That World," not that I'm complaining.

But I'm shocked they didn't do one shot of either Ariel on the beach with Eric or at least on the rock with the waves behind her. I personally would've liked a small one of the sea palace, too, and at least one of Ariel on land with legs--either the boat ending or her dancing with Eric. And Triton, too, although I can understand why he was overlooked. I like how they have Ariel at the front when you open and Ursula at the back. Btw, it's nice to know--or to be reminded, since I probably read something to this point before--that Ashman was the one who made sure Ariel sang about the human world before meeting the prince and singing the song to him. He even refers to the title song as "Part of
That World," so now I don't feel so bad. I actually would've liked if they had had a mini-reprise of "PoTW" in Ariel's grotto when she has the statue, even if it was very short and more playful, partly because it would gave even greater emphasis to the destruction of her grotto following (or perhaps her singing a sad reprise after her grotto's destroyed even, just before F&J come in?).
Also, they
do have a couple of the deleted songs I was thinking of on the second disc, although they're sung by Ashman/Menken and not the other versions I'd heard (and had hoped they would include), such as the "FB" with the Ursula lyrics and "PUS" with the deleted lyrics in the middle of the song. Also, the ending where Ariel sings as she comes out of the water, with Menken voicing. This made me remember they had other music planned for the chase scene after "Les Poissons," but I'm glad they went with the piece they did (I'm not sure what it's called, I've heard it a lot in other animated films and comedies).
"PUS" (Reprise) sounds great, although I'm glad that in the movie Pat Carroll laughs over Jodi Benson at the end, because Benson's cackling is...

I guess it's where her voice is so much higher than Carroll's that it sounds so odd, but she's great on the rest. Either way, I didn't notice anything wrong with the score except that "Part of That World," like
taei pointed out, starts with the music that plays while the camera is panning down Ariel's grotto, stops, and then starts with the normal track of "PoTW" you'll find on most albums, repeating the last bit with Ariel talking over. Not a huge deal, but I wish they could've made it seamless... I wonder how hard it would've been.
Overall, great set and glad to add this my collection.

Looking forward to
Fantasia.

Mine is on course to be delivered today !!
Can't explain how extremely excited I am ! Just to have the WHOLE score is mind-bogglingly exiting for me; though I don't honestly know why Disney just don't do that anyway ….. but I'm happy they've decided to now !

regarding Sleeping Beauty & Little Mermaid Legacy:
how is the concept art in the booklets? is it new or stuff thats been printed before? I loved that the Lion King one had stuff I had never seen, except for a few small pieces.

Can someone confirm whether or not "Poor, Unfortunate Souls" has all of the dialogue in the song intact? No recording so far has left that great dialogue in, and I think it's essential to the song. (The soundtrack goes straight from, "But, on the whole, I've been a saint...to those poor, unfortunate souls...!" to, "-Have we got a deal?," skipping ALL of the bargain, terms, etc.) Also: does the track include the incantation at the end, or is that a separate track?

No, the full dialogue is not included, unfortunately. I agree, it takes a lot of enjoyment out of the song to not have the full dialogue.

Does anyone know why there are two versions of The Little Mermaid and The Lion King but at different prices...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Walt-Disney-Rec ... l_1#disc_1
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Legacy-Collecti ... collection
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Walt-Disney-Rec ... collection
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Legacy-Collecti ... collection
Is there any difference between the lower priced one compared to the higher priced one (i.e. could the lower priced version come in a jewel case and the higher come in a digibook)?

I was wondering about the same question universALLove. Have no one bought their releases from amazon? I have gotten mine from Disney (the litograph collection available through D23 - who now have free membership), but was wondering about buying some extra copies. And while the prices are ok at the Disney Music Emporium site, the shipping to Norway is a bit high. Besides, I would really like a CD case version of some of my favorites from this collection, in addition to the CD book versions I get from Disney.

Overall I've been really happy with TLM Legacy Collection! It really does cover all the score from the movie. I can't think of any segments that are missing. Actually on the "Ursula's Lair" track there is some music that didn't actually make it to the movie (from 1:25-1:45). The rest is presented very well but I agree, some poor editing on Part of Your World. I don't see why the repeated that section at the beginning, should have just cut out the dialogue and brought in the vocal at "Look at this stuff, isn't it neat?" The demo tapes for The Storm, Fireworks and Happy Ending are very good!
That being said, I'm pleasantly surprised that Disney decided to release these types of sets at all. If you've got the discs, put Disc 2 into your computer and you can view some bonus content. A short interview video of Alan Menken as well as the option to partake in a survey RE the legacy collection.
