I think this is a great improvement! I actually thought more than once that the Disney section was a bit too broad. The forum is more organized now and Marvel or Lucasfilm threads are now easier to find. Great job
Sotiris or whoever made it!

Hello all
I couldn't find a welcome thread to introduce myself so I just picked this top one which seemed general enough. Thedisneyspirit is my older sister and she's retired from her account. I've always heard about forums and think they're positively vintage so I asked her if I could take over and get a feel for how you oldies used to interact with each other before the days of social media! I'm finding it very confusing so far considering it took me a half an hour to get a profile pic

but hopefullly everything is smooth sailing from here.
Anyway glad to be here and talk to all you lovelies! I wonder if anyone is around my age group

So has anyone noticed that the main DVDizzy site sends you to a blandly formatted screen, and doesn't have the forum featured?

Yes, but only on my phone. On a PC or Mac, the index page is still the old one.
The new index page does have a link to the old one at the bottom. Not sure why there is no hyperlink to the forum. New people who stumble across it on their mobile devices won't even be aware of the discussions here. (I am aware new users cannot join, but they can still lurk and see what's being said.)

My computer yesterday showed the bland page, so I don't think it's a mobile-only issue. But Jules, you're right, there is a link to the old version at the bottom, so Luke must have planned it to look like that.

I'm surprised things are more dead than usual with a new WDAS film out right now.

I suppose some are trying to avoid spoilers until they see it or whatever. A shame though. I saw it earlier partly because I knew COVID spikes would happen with everyone meeting for Thanksgiving and probably wouldn't come back down until after New Year's. Now I'm even more grateful I did that with all this talk about a new variant.

I'm glad the forum is back!

And it hasn't taken as long to fix the problem as the last times it has been down! Thanks for the heads up on the other forum,
Disney's Divinity. I saw your message there, but didn't remember my password, plus was a bit busy, so I didn't reply. Funnily enough, now that I don't need it, I've remembered the password.

I posted it in the Feedback forum, but just in case, here are a couple spots we can get in touch with each other when the site is down:

Quite recently a lot this year, The sites server keeps crashing and you’re not able to get onto it for at least a day or so. What’s up with this? Why does this keep happening especially quite a lot recently? I’ve never experienced it happen let alone this much beforehand so……

Same question as Patricier21, here!
Sometimes it lasts far longer than a day or two, though.

Now it`s getting really annoying. I`m sick of the page suddenly not functioning again and again. Sorry for ranting, but please forgive me

At least it's only for a day or two at a time. And, tbh, the forum doesn't have activity that often that I feel like I'm missing a great deal if it's only down for a couple of days.

Speak for yourself!

I love these boards and visit them often to find interesting discussions, both past and present

Btw, I hope you don`t get offended by my snarky remark
