Snow White & 7 Dwarfs. My all time favourite Disney film. Watched it on DVD and loved it just as much as when I saw it as a kid.

Chronological Donald Duck (although it took a few days of watching here and there) and it was great! Goofy has always been my all time favorite Disney character, but Donald is my second favorite. Can't wait for the next Donald treasures dvd!

Never really have too much time to watch stuff working 3-midnight 5 days a week so I just finished Silly Symphonys which is excellent. I'm working on Mickey Mouse in Black and White right now.

This week I watched:

Piglet's Big Movie for the first time. It picked up a little towards the end, but overall, I thought it was absolutely terrible. I found myself counting down till its end, and I even had to take a break. I've never been a huge Pooh fan, but I can normally stomach it much better than this.

The Country Bears, also for the first time. I really enjoyed it. It has its corny moments, but I was expecting much less, due to the fact that it's so underrated. I think the site review does it a lot more justice than its reputation. If it wasn't pan & scan, I might've bought it.

:( My sister just recently left us again to go back to work in Florida, so I watched a Disney movie. I chose Lion King because I wanted to watch Lion King 1 1/2 again, but wanted to see the original b4. I realized that the Morning Report was really totally out of place and an odd place to break out into song. I used to think it fit well, but this second viewing proved to me it didn't. Simba's voice is TOO different.

I just watched The Jungle Book 2 for the first time, it was on Starz-Family. I've got to say that overall, I really enjoyed this one, and I place it right up there around Return of Jafar, which is a compliment. It was very well cast for the most part, although John Goodman too often went from Baloo the Bear to Baloo the Redneck and back again, and HJO went from Mowgli as he's supposed to sound to HJO, and back again. They did OK, but I think that if Disney had gone for voice talent over name recognition, these two characters could've been slightly better cast. But maybe that's because I went into this expecting them to be perfect matches (they seem like the type, don't they?- I remember speculating that it would be these 2 before it was even announced). The songs and reprises from the original were really good, except for "WILD." The animation was good, except when Mowgli occasionally looked too pudgy and baby-faced. It actually brought some added resolution to the plot of the original, and was almost everything that a sequel should be. I'm glad it earned a theatrical run, even if it was by DTV, and it has me looking forward to TJB Platinum and future Disney sequels, if they are done this well.
