To be honest, how many documentaries with people telling us the same things over and over do we need?

Well... the one making-of we have now is only 15 mins long... we could use something more substantial.

Does anyone know what the "growing up w 9 old men" is??

I think the France cover for Peter Pan that was showned in the thread earlier will be the cover for the Blu-ray + DVD combo pack. I am really looking forward this release. Peter Pan is one of my favorite Disney movies. :D I hope it will have a fantastic picture quality and atleast all the bonus features from the 2007 Platinum Edition.

Hmmm... I think I have heard about this "growing up with the 9 old men" thing... its about Woolie RItherman's sons, K. Beaumont and all the other kids who used to be regulars at the studio...

I agree. Patrick(or somebody else if I'm mistaken) has posted before that the older disney films wouldnt have the material to make a new documentary, but there is so much more we can learn.

I mean... if they have transcripts from meetings from bambi and lady and the tramp, Im sure they have stuff on peter pan. Or they could explain what the intent of "never smile at a crocodile" was.... and why it was cut...
They could discuss differences from the play....

There are lots of things they could expand on.

Here is a question: I always found Hook's plan involving a bomb was a bit odd. A bomb is a very modern element... was that in the original play???

Well, no. Actually, instead of a bomb, in the play (at least that I'm aware of), Captain Hook was going to kill Peter Pan by poison by replacing his medicine with the poison. But to save his life, Tink took the poison instead.

Peter Pan will get a Norwegian release on the 9th of January 2013. 1 disc Blu-ray release, and a 1 disc DVD release.

yeah, cuz the idea of wendy being the boys' "mother" was much bigger and involved medicine. Peter refused to take it until it was replaced with the poison, then tinkerbell drinks it to stop him from drinking it and her light almost goes out, and then the whole "I believe in fairies bit" that was also cut from this movie but added in Return to Neverland.

Ah... this is interesting. Thats where the whole "clap if you believe in fairies" thing came in.

My point is, these are all changes made for the disney version, and having an in-depth documentary on the making of the film would shed some light on all these things...

Will people be able to dig the Captain Hook we´ve known forever after the Once Upon a Time version?

PS

Just make sure you see him like this and not the actual actor... :P

I'm sorry and I keep harping on, but why has the UK been left out of the new features and cover when everyone else hasn't ?!
