Disney uploaded a preview. HD looks great. Especially all the 'painterly' backdrops.

OMG the HD restoration Disney has done on Lady and the Tramp looks incredible in this sneak peek. You'd never know the film was released in 1955. Cant wait to get my hands on a copy! This is my third favourite Disney movie of all time since I was a toddler. :-)

I also can't wait to see it on Blu! The Platinum release for this film was one of my favorites, and it really re-introduced the film to me. It will look fantastic on Blu!!! :)

Absolutley flawless !! Disney is on a roll with their Blu transfers......to be honest, all I really look for now in the Diamond/Special Edition line is the restoration. The extras are nothing really to shout about anymore.

But praise where it's due, the restoration looks beautiful.

I have this film on VHS but haven't watched it for years. I am really looking forward to the Blu-ray! It's going to be like watching it for the first time all over again. :)

I'm in the exact same boat.

With the exception of Fox and the Hound IMO.

While I can understand that point, I have this personal fear that if more people took up that attitude Disney wouldn't try so much with their bonus features. And when I see something as good as "Through the Keyhole" on Alice in Wonderland I want them to keep trying.

So summarizing the bonus feature situation, there is not really anything new, correct? And certainly nothing new that's substantial..?

Could you also take some photos or scans of the inserts/booklets inside?

Just shot this picture... I'll check the discs later and as soon as I watch them, I'll tell the trailers included! And tomorrow I'll post better pics, both have inside artwork. No booklets, unfortunately...

I really look forward to reading your post ! Thank you !

Though that cover is so basic and odd, it makes my eyes hurt :(

I thought it was odd, too, so much empty space on a Disney cover. I didn't mind the cover online, but in this photo, it seems more apparent that this cover wasn't composed well, simplistic or not.

The non-slipcover aussie versions look better imo. They've managed to make the cover seem more balanced. It's personally my favourite DE cover yet.

I completely agree. I thought it looked ok before, but seeing it like that ..... bizzare to say the least ? It's so shoved to the side as well ! Again, there are more scenes in this film OTHER than this one .... Like Disney is obsessed by the ballroom scene for all BATB home releases.

Guys, the trailers included on the brazilian edition are: Cinderella: Diamond Edition, Brave, Secret of the Wings and Chimpanzee... all the ones we've already seen... but the US versions usually includes a LOT more previews than the ones from Brazil...
The main menu is lovely, I'll try to make a video later today! The picture quality is great, although I only checked some scenes.
