Oh, WOW!!!! That was a beautiful teaser!!!!!
With this teaser, then I think the movie should be named "The Secret of the Tower" or something like that. It's fitting in my opinion.

That trailer looks wow....good...and also I didn't see anything about besides the Title not being in there....they also didn't say it was a disney movie or coming in disney digital 3d or something like that....the last trailer that was out that I can remember with a what is that movie was Cloverfield......althought I realize people probably will be able to find out what the trailer is even if its in theaters with the internet.....but the secrecy of the trailer makes me think of the trailer for Cloverfield.....in the ooh what is that movie? If they have this trailer in theaters soon like with Alice in Wonderland Next week or something.....I think that will draw attraction to it by itself......and yes I think a more fitting name for the movie would be The Secret of the Tower....
and also....what odd things we learn each day....although I could have lived without hearing Marky's apparent pastime of other films...

I can see why they would suit him, since many films of that type are filmed with pretty low-quality equipment. Plenty of delicious grain for him to marvel at, I'm sure!

Probably more exciting than the actual happenings of the film, eh, Marky?

Some of you are being rather jerky to
Marky, so please lay off of him.
The movie descriptions have talked about Rapunzel leaving the tower, so The Secret of the Tower doesn't make much sense. It's not about the tower, and she leaves it behind. It's about...well...Rapunzel, so the title should be...
But anyway, Glen Keane's vision of painterly 3D animation has come a long way:

You have to admit, he
does sort of ask for it sometimes, Duster.

You already argued pretty well about how some other titles are shared by adult films. Of course if a child searched for Rapunzel there would be far less chance of anything bad happening than if they searched for Tangled...
Let's just leave him alone...and look at the amazing painterly animation.

I can't believe how much that teaser trailer made me more excited!!!! I thought that was amazing even if it didn't show much! I wish it was November now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks gorgeous! and I'm so happy, because I didn't think Mandy Moore would be a good Rapunzel, but her voice sounds great! I'm so happy right now!!!:D:D:D

What a great teaser! It makes the movie feel very epic and shows that the movie has great potential (unlike the Princess and the Frog trailer which was very meh).
Though I do find it odd that it doesn't have a title. Maybe Tangled isn't official?

Love the teaser, it evokes the classic fairy-tail feeling I was hoping they were going for.
As for the lack of title, I suspect that the name change was really was last minute. Since these DVD/Blu-rays are finalized a month or two in advance, they probably weren't sure what to call it and didn't want to give the general public the wrong title (seriously, besides us Disney fans, I'm sure most of the general public knows nothing about this movie).
Still hate the name but hope for the best as far as the movie goes. If we're lucky, focus groups and surveyors will reject the bland/meaningless Tangled and we'll get Rapunzel back (I'm not gonna hold my breath on that one) or they'll keep the name Rapunzel in some other English speaking country and I can just import the Blu-ray.

Yeah, I remember seeing it once on a German DVD import site(was searching for international HD DVDs) and the cover image stuck with me.

Is it just me or does anyone else automatically think "Rapunzel" when they hear let down your hair shouted?
I'm sure most people, even those who don't know the story, will make that connection and then see the title Tangled and think to themselves: "Well, is this about Rapunzel or not?"

Dont worry. your not insane. Though the overload of dialogue will drown out such assumptions in most people.

I forgot to mention but the music in hat teaser sounded like official music from the score. Classic Menken. Sounds really good.

You do realise that you've linked to the two same productions there?
