You can still preorder at ToysRUs up until a day or two before the release can't you?

Oh, and you still are paying $33.98 + tax at TRU (minus coupons) whereas if you buy together at Target it's $39.98 minus $10 for buying them together which makes them $29.98 (minus coupons) so it's $4 cheaper to buy the pair at Target. It seems like you aren't counting the $10 deposit which makes your total out of pocket $5/$10 higher than your bottom line price.

The Target deal is going to be hard to beat. I'm wondering if the $5 coupon is for the combined purchase, or for each Blu-ray. If its for each it could be $20 total for both at Target.

I was debating upgrading these to Blu-ray right now, but for the price I'll be at Target Tuesday morning.

Sorry, I should have made it more clear to those who did pre-order to go to Toys R Us. I'm just scratching my head as to why the majority did not go to Toys R Us to get Princess and the Frog. After the pre-orders and coupon, my total came to $10.xx. Those who paid $16/$10 at Target for PATF could have $10 of their total to go towards TS/TS2 next week.

toy story's 5 dollar coupon is now live for both usa and canada releases(printed 2 for me), however only the canadian toy story 2 5 dollar coupon is presently up, hopefully disney updates the page again shortly with the us toy story 2 coupon

That and there is a much bigger chance of getting away with using more coupons at Toys R Us than at Target. (I plan on using the 2 $5 coupons on top of the 2 upgrade to blu coupons.)

Is it too late to do the preorder things at Toys R Us. Cuz I couldve sworn I read in one of the forums I'm on that they had an offer that was only a two day deal.

I'm still trying to work out the math regarding getting all three movies.

I don't think so. I first saw Toys R Us doing the pre-order deal on Saturday March 6th and I pre-ordered with the deal this past Monday.



Doesn't anyone think I'll be able to get away with using the upgrade to Blu coupons on top of the two $5 coupons?

It's gotta be some sort of error if they have the coupon for TS2 for Canada but not the US.

Somebody should email them just to make sure.

Anyway they said there will be a coupon for Toy Story 2 in the US and they currently working on it to resolve it and to check the site back a little later in the day and so there will be one for the US...it just seems there's a little hiccup in the system and they are working on that...

Awesome. I dont have a printer at home so I will have to go to a friends house to do this. I just dont wanna do two trips to get coupons for TPatF and the TS films.

It isn't too late. The secret is though is that the offer expired Monday, but it wasn't written that way on the pre-order card. So, when your cashier scans the barcodes into the computer, it won't take $15 off automatically but they must manually type it in.

I know it's SO nerdy and obsessive, but I write down all my math on a piece of paper just to save the most money.

You mean Monday was the last day? I pre-ordered mine Monday evening.

They told me on Monday that I'll get the $15 voucher when I pick up Toy Story 1 and 2 the following week.

Yeah, some Toys R Us stores do not understand that it's "Save Up To $15 on the purchase of any Disney movie TODAY" Let me know how the voucher thing goes, whether they give you a coupon or something. The TRU near me said I would save $15 when I pick these up but I debated with them because the worst is I will come to TRU next week and they will tell me I was supposed to save $15 on my Disney movie when I pre-ordered. Then I would be missing out on the offer entirely!

That's a pretty big misprint. My card says the deposits must be in by 3/22. Where did you hear that the deadline was wrong? But yeah, I'll let you know how it works out. I'm hoping I get a voucher that I can use at a different toys r us so I can get monsters inc.

I got my coupons printed and ready to be at Wal-Mart midnight Monday!

This is still hurting my head so much I'm about to say screw it! and just use the coupon and some of my gift card money at BB to get TPatF. I'm actually more gungho about getting TPatF then I am about the Toy Story movies though I dont mind owning them (or the free movie tickets). The ToysRUs pre-order offer sounds promising. But I feel I'll be chalking up too much money if the price for the Combo packs turns out to be higher than expected.

If I do the TRU preorder my $15 dvd will definitly go to TPatF. The only other Disney Blu Rays I maybe interested in owning are Pinocchio and Sleeping Beauty but I still need to get rid of my standard DVDs.

I read through slickdeals.net and those that seem to be having a problem with it were trying to get it with The Princess and the Frog on Tues. When I was rung up on Monday there was no mention by them that I was supposed to use it when I pre-ordered it. I actually walked back and asked if I'll get the $15 when I come back to pick those up and they said yes. I think the people having the problems were trying to use it before TRU intended them to and that's why they had to do it manually vs a voucher. The card should have been more clear on when the voucher would be given.

Did anyone else Pre-Order at Toys R Us?
