Muppet Christmas Carol (1992) just finished and I tried to watch The Last Starfighter (1984) earlier today, but I was very unimpressed with it and I decided not to continue watching it. (I got about 35 minutes into it)

Liked Make Mine Music more on this viewing than ever before. A lot of fun. 2nd half of Melody Time is pretty much solid gold.

From this morning to this afternoon I watched The Departed (I tested my new toy, the 80GB Zune, by putting a backup copy of my DVD onto the computer and my Zune :D ), The Bourne Ultimatum, The Kingdom (two of the DVD's I received along with Jericho: S1 and Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix) and just got back from seeing Sweeney Todd (fabulous music, still unsure of the movie itself though).

Cheers,

With six of the 10 grandkids we watched Muppet Christmas Carol and as a special treat we watched Disney's Underdog. The kids loved both, and grandma and grandpa enjoyed watching the kids have a good time.

I thought "Underdog" was a lot better than the critics gave it credit for. And the extras were pretty solid.

Possession

Very nice and romantic. Loved Jennifer Ehle and Jeremy Northam in the flashbacks to the 19th century.

My dad and I watched Jurassic Park last night (We were checking it out on my new 32" LCD television). Then we finished watching it at my Parents house and watched "Eragon" on one of those premium "On Demand" channels.......I think Cinemax.

I've watched about half of Hair and I really don't know what to say about it. It was pretty good until, where I stopped, Claude was drugged with LSD. It is interesting to say the least, and I'm wondering if I'll finish it or move on to watching De-Lovely (the third movie in the American Movie Musicals - Volume 2 set, along with A Chorus Line).

Anyway, my sister went to go see Sweeney Todd and I'm absolutely jelous because I really wanted to go see it, but she had to go with a friend instead, so now I'm really bummed. Oh well, I can always go and watch drugged hippies dance in the rain without any pants on for another hour or two :)

Eragon I actually loved it. Great cast of characters, good acting, nice special effects... I wish they would go ahead and make the second and third sequels into films. 4/5

National Treasure Pretty good movie which grew on me. :) 4/5

Bedazzled (2000)
Gave this a re-watch. Still feel the same way I felt before. Elizabeth is great and Brendan tries as hard as he can, but it's not funny, ever. At least it's not as bad as Monkeybone.

Cutting Class (1989)
I gave it an extra half-star because the fact that it is so freaky and bizarre makes it more amusing. But literally, this as about as bad as it gets in terms of the bad teen slasher film. One of the supporting cast members, Brenda James, went on to Slither (2005) and Masters of Horror: Jenifer (2005).
