I didn't know that the Disney characters spoke in the new video game for Nintendo 3DS: Disney Magical World

So, here are the Disney Princesses featured in this game and their voices:

Disney Magical World (2014)
Katie Von Till ~ Snow White
Jennifer Hale ~ Cinderella
Kate Higgins ~ Aurora
Julie Nathanson ~ Belle
Linda Larkin ~ Jasmine

Sadly, Ariel is not featured in this game...

Here's the full cast:

That's practically every Disney character bar Ariel, which is unusual to say the least.....

And Dakota Fanning is back to playing Lilo ?! Nooooooooooooo !!!

Re: Disney Magical Worlds, the reason Ariel isn't in is because (unless she was only land form and no mermaid) she wouldn't be able to visit your cafe. (Unless we stuck her in a fish bowl, lol.) You can buy an Mermaid titled outfit for your character, but maybe one day we'll get some DLC for Mermaid. [/useless information on that]

If I had to pick anyone to voice Belle other then Paige it would be Susan.

I disagree. Julie is perfect as Belle!

I have to respectfully disagree …….

She sounds so generic and vaguely like a chipmunk when she sings. As someone has said in the comments section, she sounds like a completely different character.

This could quite happily be Belle for me (last year it was recorded I think):

And this one, just for another example:

I still think you're completely wrong. Julie Nathanson is still perfect as Belle and captures the character brilliantly. (It's not nice to publicly insult voice actors like that.)

I also agree with a previous poster who said that Susan Egan's voice sounds too mature for be Belle.

Atlantica wasn't insulting Julie Natheson's Belle. Just stating that she didn't like the way, Julie voices the character and while I do like Make It Right, the song, she sings with Sofia, something to me about her speaking voice just seemed off. I've grown accustomed to it, upon repeat viewings of The Amulet and The Anthem but I still don't think it's the best fit for Belle. Atlantica, do you know the name of the lady that is singing as Belle in The Christmas Waltz? Because she is very good.

You can think I'm completely wrong if you wish, thats not a problem at all. I'm not insulting her as a person for goodness sake, I don't feel she's right for Belle.

moviefan, that's Susan singing The Christmas Waltz :)

I'm not insulting Julie as a person ethier, but her voice sounds like every other princess voice. Not orginal at all.

I think in their own way, all the Princesses have had such unique voices, and so distinct from one another that its a such a shame for them to get 'blanded out' as it were.

Probably, looking through the lineup, Kristen Bell as the most 'generic' or 'normal sounding' voice of all the Princesses I think, and probably one of the easier to replace. I'm not saying she doesn't suit Anna or anything, just in the scheme of Princesses voices, I think her is the least distinct.

NOT SO! I still disagree and think you're dead wrong as well. :x

Nathanson IS perfect as Belle and a VERY worthy successor to O'Hara.

I especially love Nathanson's performance as the character in the video game "Kinect Disneyland Adventures", which was her first performance in the role.

……in your opinion though, surely ? Personally, I don't think she is for the aforementioned reasons, but we can go round and round in circles saying that so not very good use of the thread, is it ?

Still concerning we havent heard Ariel speak in a while now :(

I just much prefer Daveigh Chase in the role; she is Lilo to me, and should certainly have voiced her in 'Stitch Has A Glitch' as she was doing the TV series at the same time.

I'm sorry if I've picked the wrong thread; this could possibly be in the theme park section, but is Katheryn Beaumont still the voice of Alice on the Alice In Wonderland ride ?

I was on Disneywiki and it stated that Kathie Sourcie (I'm sorry, I forgot her surname) had replaced her now; just wondered if they did the vocal in the park, as I believe the ride had a refurb?

Few interesting videos I've found relating to Jodi and her role at Disney. It does soothe me slightly to hear her talk about still playing Ariel; I just hope they've continued it on with her as these were filmed during the Diamond release:

She talks about the legacy of Ariel a few minutes in.

Ron and Jon talk about how she still sounds the same today as she did 24 years ago....
