lol, I meant to post this 8 hours ago, but we went somewhere and then watched Dr. Who and then I come back and find I just hit "Preview" and not "Submit" before we left!

Anyhow...

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! That was amazing!!!! I can't wait for the movie! Escapay and I shouted in protest when it got cut off in the end of the preview and went to the title logo, lol. AHHHH It needs to be February 6th!!!!!!!!!

I think they're not ignoring it on purpose. Cinderella III seems to be another inbetween-quel rather than a sequel. The events that happened in Cinderella II haven't happened yet. From what I can infer the first part of the preview is right after the ball since apparently Anastasia saw everything with the Fairy Godmother. I guess the Fairy Godmother was hanging out in the forest after Cinderella left and then Anastasia stole the wand when they came back from the ball. Maybe the Tremaines left the ball early? Anyhow, that's still a big question, despite the preview. How on earth did they get the wand in the first place?

But yeah, this is exciting! I can't wait to see the whole movie and I'm so glad the other characters have more to do and they got the mice right and woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. I can try and do screencaps, but I don't know where to post them if no one wants spoilers. Maybe I can make a new topic and post the link?

When Cinderella gets her gown in the original movie, the stepsisters and Lady Tremain are already off to the ball.
They left after they destroyed Cinderellas first dress.
Because of that its not possible that Anastasia could saw Cindys transformation and got the wand after that.
Somewhere you can read that "III" takes place one year after the wedding.
The Fairy Godmother wants to throw a surprise-party for Cinderella and her prince for their first anniversary.
And there Anastasia steals the wand.

So that´s why I think they ignor part II. But that´s not very sad...
In Germany Cinderella III isn´t even called "III", just Cinderella + subline.

Yes, you´re right.
In the translation it is something like " Cinderella - Triumph of True Love".
They totally get rid of this time-idea.

Indeed, I've seen the German cover as well, and I thought they really missed the ball on the translation of the title. The German title is just as cheesy as the title for Cindy 2.

i dont know it for sure but by the look of it the title will be... Cinderella 3
with a 3 and no III (wich i prefer)
and the subline is also missing
but i don't know for sure so i possibly will change (or i hope so)

Wow...I finally got around to watching the 8-minute montage of scenes, and I have to admit I'm very impressed. I love how Cinderella back talked Lady Tremaine. All I could say was, "It's about freaking time!" The only thing I find odd is how Cindy pronounces Jaq's name. She doesn't pronounce it "Jack" like in the original; she says it the French way, like "Jock." And maybe I'm hearing things, but did Lady Tremaine call Drizella "Priscilla" in the bit where she's playing with the wand? Do they have codenames, now, or something? Despite those couple of odd points, this looks very promising. I can't get enough of Cindy's new character animation. They nailed it so well. This will be the first DTV sequel I blind buy on DVD.
