Watched Patton (1970) this morning. Now, maybe it is because I have seen Dr. Strangelove a billion times and forever associated George C. Scott with that.
Maybe it is because I have seen enough WW2 films to actually fill the 6-year period the war ran for, but I had real trouble getting in to this movie. I appreciate that it is well made and the performances are terrific. However, like most war films (with a few notable exceptions) this left me largely cold.

The Producers (2005) - Third viewing (first on DVD) and it left me as giddy as the first two.

Chicken Little: A wonderful cinematic achievement that gets better everytime. It's better than the majority of the Animated Classics. I'm not kidding.
Chicken Little rocks!
Hey Luke, could you add a CL emoticon?

Talk to Her (2002 - Spain) (Viewed 22 May 2006): It is easy to see why this is so acclaimed. The performances are terrific, and they really carry the film, and this is some of the most steady-handed direction from Pedro Almodóvar. However, like all films acclaimed as much as this one was (it even won Best Screenplay at the 2003 Oscars, a rarity for a foreign-language film), people might expect too much if I talk it up. Great performances, and great writing. Will watch again soon.

American Pie - Pretty bad, really, but somewhat funny and (sadly) influential. This was probably my fourth time seeing it and I continue to find more and more things in it that just don't make sense.
High School Musical - Review to come soon
