I have also seen Underworld: Evolution... excellent. The movie was totally awesome. At the end there was this helicopter that crashed and the blades were still turning. I was like "I don't care who gets chopped up but... this is going to be awesome!!!" :D

Several:

The Aristocrats : after hearing a recommendation for it on G4. Seriously, it's not worth it. Please, skip it.

The Brothers Grimm: wasn't a bad movie.... and in fact it wasn't a waste. However, they should have stayed and place more focus on each of the stories where they got their ideas, instead of giving you a glimpse of each one. Had they done that, the movie would have been much better.

Crash: :? No, seriously.... I mean it..... :? :? :? :?

Flight Plan : the bets movie of them all. I wasn't even interested on seeing it.... but after watching the trailer on the Brothers Grimm DVD I had to. I had to search through several video stores and none of them had it. Had to to wait for a while till they could get a copy of it.

Terrific movie, nice suspense.... very well done twist in the end... but sadly, I was expecting something more after all the movie built in the plot.

PS

Was the bruise in Jodie Foster's cheek and homage to Silence of the Lambs?

Today

The Corpse Bride: What a lovely movie. It almost made me cry.

I think that had the movie a couple of better songs, a little more action and come before Nightmare people would appreciate it more.

It is just not fair for the movie to be compared to Nightmare, mainly because this one has years of a cult following and as such it is very well known to us.

This movie is great for what it delivers. It doesn't want to be a masterpiece.... just a very good movie; and as such it triumphs. In fact, it IS a masterpiece in animation.

PS

I hope Tim Burton decides on making at least 1 more movie... so we have a trilogy of them. 8)

I just watched Inspector Clouseau. I was not sure what it would be like at first but I ended up REALLY liking it even without Sellers.

Then after that I watched "Curse of the Pink Panther". I thought good (not the best of course) but was disappointed in H. Lom and I think that Cato was out of character too. ( Also was/am confused about if Clouseau really did go rouge after the surgery? Or if he did not the diamond was stolen but legally purchased. And do you think Dreyfus really did think Clouseau was dead? Who was the man in the photo since Roger Moore WAS Clouseau? If you could help clarify those it would really help.)

I also watched Son of the Pink Panther. This was much better than I thought it would be. They left Cato like himself again and Dreyfus seemed partly crazy but still seemed more or less very nice ( and becoming Jacques (Gambrelli) Clouseau Jr.'s stepfather after marring Maria! WOW! It just seems right.) This was in my opinion a great way to end the series (since this new film is nether a remake, prequel or sequel but as I have said a restart to the series much like Batman Begins has noting to do with the Batman films from 1989-1997).

Watched The 40-Year-Old Virgin, the unrated version, and thought it was okay. Not nearly as funny as it could have been. And not as crazy as it could have been. Pretty good cast, but really a rather dull movie. My grade C-.

Watched Benji the Hunted, probably the best of the Benji movies. Joe Camp really did a great job with all the Benji movies, and this one is the best of the series. "Benji Unleashed" was a very poor movie in the Benji series.

Feel sorry for those of you who wasted your money on "Flight Plan". Either you don't pay attention to the movies when you watch them, or you don't watch for the clues. They tell you how this one will end about half way through and take away all the suspense. If you thought the ending had a 'twist' to it, you weren't paying attention to the movie all the way. Jodie Foster is a fabulous actress, but she deserved better than this flop of a movie.

Yesterday, I watched "The African Queen" starring Katherine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart. It's quite an lovely movie about a couple touring the sights of Africa and fighting Germans in WWI.

Right now, I'm watching "Corpse Bride". Wow, 2 people watched it already.

EDITED: Wow! That film is totaly remarkable and I almost cried at the ending. This is the second time I've ever cried like this since Spirited Away.

Well, just finished Corpse Bride. Just as good as when I saw it in theaters! :D I'm kind of disappointed with the DVD though. I wasn't very impressed with the extras ... and the DVD didn't even come with a Chapter Insert. Oh well, at least the movie is good.

Resident Evil : an OK movie. what makes the movie bad, is just that they didn't bother to make a movie out of the game. They just used parts of it and then made a "side story". And this is so WRONG given the fact that the games (s) already has (have) story (ies).

How hard it is just to recreate what's already there?

The Fog (2005) : Another one in the league of The Cave. Man, this movie serioulsy puts one to sleep.

Evil Dead : for the first time.... No wonder this movie became one of a cult. It has all the ingredients necessary for making a good B horror movie.

... and I thought Hannibal and Cabin Fever were gory.

I watched The Madator Friday night. It was funny but not that great I thought.
I also watched Resident Evil: Apocalypse. I love the part where they're at the school and those zombie dogs chase them. That part if freaky. Plus when they're in the church... awesome!!!

Watched Four Brothers with Mark Wahlberg and Tyrese Gibson. Wonderfully violent film about four adopted brothers who come together to avenge their "mother's" brutal murder. This movie has a lot of depth to it, and if you are a fan of the John Wayne movie "Sons of Katie Elder" you will recognize the plotline. Really good movie, I recommend it highly.

Also watched Sky High with the grandkids. Now I wasn't a fan of this film in the theaters and in fact somewhere here on UD I posted a pretty vile review of this film. While no great shakes of a movie, it isn't as bad as I truly thought it was. I just don't buy Kurt Russell and Lynda Carter as 'Super heroes' in the context of the film. I did find it more enjoyable than when I watched it in the theater.

Batman Forever:

Where the series started falling apart.

Still, this is very enjoyable movie had it been for:

-those many colors. I would have prefered they kept it black but I wouldn't have mind some colors.... but there are just too many.

- Two-Face; WAY over the top. If they already had Jim Carrey for The Riddler, then why would they need Tommy Lee Jones to go this way with the character

PS

The introduction of Robin; I would have never understand why the character even existed.

Wait...so Lynda Carter, who forever shall be Wonder Woman to many, doesn't seem very Superhero-esque in this movie? I have yet to see it, looking into blindbuying it used, but just wondering about that one detail.

Anyway, I watched Finding Nemo today, which should count as a non-Disney film as it's by Pixar.

Yesterday I watched bits and pieces of Rebel Without A Cause.
