Gilmore Girls had a Thanksgiving episode in its third season: "A Deep-Fried Korean Thanksgiving." It also had a Christmas episode in its seventh season called "Santa's Secret Stuff."

I Love Lucy had a rarely-seen Christmas special (simply called "The I Love Lucy Christmas Episode") in its sixth season.

Paramount's upcoming DVD has eight sitcom Christmas episodes, all of which have been released in season sets. I guess this DVD should be added to the listings for the 8 featured episodes.

Thought I'd bump this up as we are now in September, and what I like to call that Nightmare Before Christmas time of the year is fast approaching with Halloween not to far on the Horizon.

I just encountered a couple of X-Files Christmas episodes:
Christmas Carol - Season 5
Emily - Season 5

Emily is actually part 2 of Christmas Carol and takes place during New Year's even though there is still a strong Christmas influence in it with all the Christmas decorations around. There's also a strong myth-arc influence in these two episodes, even though they weren't in the official mythology story line of the show (more like a spin-off of the mythology story line). X-Files: the perfect show to watch during Christmas!

For some reason I've always considered the season 9 episode of Roaseanne called Satan, Darling to be sort of Halloween-ish.
