Of course, I was just expressing my disagreement with said opinion. Unlike others here I'm not going to throw a fit and act like you just murdered my dog in cold blood. A simple facepalm seems appropriate however. I've seen a lot of bland fanart over the years, Mondo's posters are so well done its just hard to think someone could think they look like fanart, regardless of one's tastes. But to each his own.

Afraid so.
I plan on waiting till Tuesday to call Disney since that's the release date, and I will tell them I am thrilled with the overall restoration job and 3D conversion, but am very disappointed that what I feel is a crucial moment in the film has a "dent" in it now, and would be appreciative if they put together a replacement disc for those of us who feel it negatively affects the viewing experience. They key is to be
nice and
professional to them, and restrain from the "you raped my childhood" rage we often express on these forums.

Well said. There is hope for these forums yet.

My most recent email to the company:
To whom it may concern,
As your company has previously acknowledged, two scenes from the "Part of Your World" sequence were accidentally switched during the restoration of the film, and the error has been included on the upcoming Blu-ray. While I've been a loyal customer of Disney for many years, I'm here to inform you that I will not be upgrading my DVD to the Blu-ray of this film unless a replacement disc is issued to correct the error.
The same goes for many other films released to Blu-ray due to poor restorations/transfers and other error issues, particularly Pocahontas (failure to include the "If I Never Knew You" segments via seamless branching), Cinderella (very poor restoration), The Lion King (missing clouds), and The Sword in the Stone (another poor restoration).
I love these films and am extremely disappointed with how these current releases have been handled. If future releases are continued to be produced with this same basic lack of care, I'll no longer be upgrading any of my Disney DVDs to Blu.
Thank you for your time.

I've learned from being in various fandoms that when a product is unsatisfactory typing and sending an e-mail doesn't prove you're concerned enough. You have a better chance of being listened to if you type a letter, print it out, and snail-mail it because making a physical letter takes more dedication than making a quick digital message.

Anyone else feel like it's time for Jodi to let go of the Little Mermaid money now?

I don't mean to be rude, but her voice has definitely changed and she's the only princess voice (to my knowledge) that keeps making appearances for her voice work done over 20 years ago.

That wasn't her best, but I think in a studio setting where she can do multiple takes she can still pull it off. It just takes more effort.

That was amazing!!!
I can't believe that she sounds exactly the same as she did more than 20 years ago!
Keep the good work, Jodi!

I do find that rude. I only see her as dedicated.
Personally, I'll take her aged voice over some awful, breathy, hyper-girlish impersonator, like the people they get for Cinderella, Snow White, and Aurora.

I know you're right about that, I'll most likely send a snail mail letter after the official release of the set.

It looks like it could be an Amazon exclusive (at least at the moment).
