Yeah, he has responded to one of my PMs (on an unrelated matter).
I assume that the film isn't out in his area yet, hence why he has nothing much to say.

Tangled is down to 89%!? The other day it was at 90%, what the hell?
A film that has been out for 3 years, long after people have stopped paying attention to reviews for it, is down by 1 percent. Let's panic.

I'm not panicking, just suprised. I thought they ahd like a cut off date or something. And seriously what is your problem with me? A majority of the posts I make ends with you making a hateful comment.

Can't find the 3D bluray for Frozen on Amazon for some reason, anyone else? It was in my cart and now it's gone.

Anyone know where I can read the lyrics to "You're You" so I can compare it to "Love is an Open Door"? I can't hear lyrics clearly in songs since I'm hearing impaired and would love read the lyrics to understand to concept or point behind the song. I heard this one has a much more sinister subtlety to it compared to "Love is an Open Door."

Other people walk through life where you prefer to skip
And other people watch their step where you most likely trip
Sure, your hair's not perfect and there's, what's that, on your clothes
And yeah, you're kind of talkative with freckles on your nose
But you're you, you're you, and that's what makes me smile
You're you, you're you, so stay that way a while
Anna: Oh Hans, I...
You don't have to say a thing, I know the way you feel
Your face is like an open book, so honest, true and real
Other people lie and cheat, when push may come to shove
Your heart doesn't work like that, so you're the girl I love
You're you, you're you, that's how I hope you'll stay
You're you, you're you, but anyway, that's all I've got to say
I don't see how it has any more sinister subtlety.

Is the soundtrack version of 'Let It Go' different from the version in the film, like 'A Whole New World' is different from soundtrack to film ?

Not that I have picked up on . . . I've now seen the film five times and probably listened to the soundtrack version at least 100 times.
I am beginning to think I need a 12 step program.

Where can I hear this "You're You" song?
And on the topic of songs, I finally gave "Let It Go" a proper listen, and I think it wasn't worth the hype.
The first few seconds are alright and kinda remind me of "Total Eclipse of the Heart", but as the song goes on it starts sounding more like a deleted song than anything, and, while at times Idina's vocals were actually pretty good, at other times she sounded like a cat in a blender. This works better as a piece of score than as a proper song.
Maybe my opinion of the song will change when I actually get to see the movie (here in Brazil it's only coming out January 3rd), but until then, “Love is an Open Door” remains my favorite song of the soundtrack.

Why the HELL does that need a spoiler bar? This is getting out of control!
Sorry for your awful taste though.

It's all a matter of opinion. If you thought the song was good, fine, I respect that.

Saying Idina Menzel sounds like a cat in a blender is an opinion, but it's a wrong one.

I ordered the 3D Combo Pack, I clicked on my order details and then clicked on the title link within the order, and the link no longer works. I think for some reason, it's no longer on Amazon for the moment. That's rather odd.

I was just saying that about her performance in "Let It Go". I've just listened to "I'm Not That Girl" and "Defying Gravity", and she sounds a lot better; the end of "Defying Gravity" gave me goosebumps.

I, too, think that Idina sounds a bit high-pitched in "Let It Go". Especially towards the end of the song.

Her performance definitely isn't flawless . . . but it's probably a hell of a lot better than most of us can sing!
I do think the song works very well in the film. I wasn't crazy about the orchestrations the first time I heard them but after seeing the final product, I think it'll go down in history as one of Disney's best.

I have to confess, I felt the same about it …. little bit shriek - like in some parts ? I don't mean to cause offence, just opinion.
Thank you for the info

Any time!
I dunno . . . for me, I guess ultimately the "flaws" kind of work since the song is all about letting go . . . poise, control, etc. All those things she's HAD to do her whole life (i.e., be perfect).
If her pitch strays here or there, maybe it's part of embracing who she is and that she doesn't HAVE to keep it together?

Hmm I guess that could be a really good point there ! I love it, and it is a brilliant song, but hearing it in my car on the drive to work this morning, I couldn't tell who was shouting / singing more, me or Elsa !
But that is a good point though, she could be vocally 'letting go'. Or my ears just don't like her pitch that much. one or the other!
