Hehe, so you think you can help Timberlake bring sexy back with your voice? His attempt was horrible. :P

Listening to the SOTS episode right now, too, first ZADDP i've listened to since...I think pod 10.

It's Halloween and that means that a new episode of Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod has finally been posted! (It's just too bad that I had to stay up until 6 am for it :P).

Episode 24: Top 10 Disney Villains
In this special Halloween episode, we count down Disney's Top 10 Villains and pay tribute to many more in an audio montage.

Aaron, I checked out on iTunes and on your site www.aaronspod.com that says "Happy Thanksgiving". But the problem is that the new episode is not updated yet, and your October trip reports is not even there yet. What's the problem? :? Maybe you should do a holiday show maybe by Christmas and then you would do your reschedule for the next show in 2007.

If you have any updates, e-mail me BrooklynGuy78@hotmail.com

Thanks!;)

I'm sure that Aaron is just very busy as are we all. I myself have been busy and my laptop has not even had not the required free space to run Audacity for my show. Aaron's show has never seemed to be a weekly show anyway just because of all the other work he does for UD and must do in his *GASP* non-Disney-online related life.

JC is right on the money. I've recorded the next episode, but haven't been able to get it ready for publishing yet. The last two months have been the busiest I've ever seen. Even without doing the podcast, I've really struggled to get everything for school and UD done. With Christmas break, I'm finally catching up and breathing again. Anyways, I don't mean to whine; everyone is busy. It's a high priority for me to get at least one show out before month's end and back on a regular schedule by January. I've gotten some really supportive email -- without even mentioning anything -- from listeners, and that's been comforting. The ZADDP audience is awesome and I can't wait to get started back on it. Thanks for caring about the show. It means a lot and I really appreciate it.

Episode #25 - Disney's Top 10 Best Years

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod is back with another countdown episode. In time for New Year's, we're counting down the top 10 best years in Disney's history... the ones filled with a lot of big things that have meant a lot to the company and all of us fans. I started with 65 contenders and had to painfully eliminate all but 10 for this show, but of course there's a list of those that almost made the cut too. After all is said and done, there's a look back at 2006 as well. Happy New Year, everyone!

Now available!

I noticed the show has been taken off the DPN.

Has Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Pod come to an end? :(

No, the show hasn't come to an end. Jeff (founder & host of the DPN) and I talked about this earlier this week. Despite the best intentions, I haven't been able to get a new show out lately or keep up a regular schedule. I've got a pile of near-finished podcast content on my computer. I'm hoping to get shows back out on a regular basis in the neat-future. In the meantime, I'm obviously not any help to the DPN, being basically an inactive forum for the time being. Once I get everything going again, you can probably expect to see ZADDP back at the DPN. All the message board data has been saved so that it can be returned at that time.

It's baaaaaaaack:

Episode 27 - New!
It's been over a year since the last "Super-Sized Mailbag Episode". The emails and voicemails have piled up since then and now, at last, they are read and addressed "on air".

Topics discussed include:

*How to fix Disney's California Adventure (more suggestions from the always-controversial Jason)
*Moving Disneyland's Fantasmic
*Song of the South (of course!)
*Disneyland, Villains, and the Fab 5
*And more

...And then wait for the next installment, when a listener rolls out an elaborate Disney conspiracy theory...

This episode is available now!

Well I finally got chance to listen.

It's nice to see UD's own Barry White is back again! ;)

Maybe next time we'll hear the Madonna version of "Sooner or later"?

;)

I really appreciate the effort that goes into making these podcasts. It's a pity I can't listen to them because the file size is just too big for my connection (it would take ages to download).

Anyhow, it's nice to visit this thread after soooooooo long.

Are you on a dial-up connection, JC? If so, it is going to take a while to download. It might help if you play it through your browser, so that you can listen to it as it downloads (essentially like "streaming" it):

Hmm... I used to have dial-up. My current connection is a bit better, but still rather slow. About a year and a half ago, I actually did download the first ever ZADDP entry! :) But it took so long that I concluded that it was not feasible to proceed.

Anyhow, thanks for the link Aaron! Maybe I'll attempt downloading again, or "streaming" it as you said. Just one thing - is it necessary for me to be familiar with prior episodes of the podcast? Or is it fine to just pick up anywhere? It's just that the only one I've ever listened to is the first one.

You can pick up anywhere you'd like. (I haven't listened to the first episode in a long, long time, but I can imagine how bad it probably was... I like to think the show has improved considerably since then). I occasionally make reference to past shows but usually explain what I'm talking about, as there are always new listeners picking up with every episode.
